Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowdays modern generation is highly influenced by different forms of art such as music, literature, acting and paintings. It is widely suggested that anyone can become famous and wealthy around the world even with minor artistic skills. Therefore, individuals with real talented failed to get enough recgnition. However, I am partly agree with this viewpoint because of several compelling reasons.
A key justification for this stance is that living standards of people have transformed since the introduction of social media. Anyone can become a public figure simply by uploading content on various online platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and TikTok. A key example fpr this is that within a decade, many young adults and teenagers have gone viral on social media by making lipsing videos on differents songs. In a short time, they have become popluar. Furthermore, they did not get any professional training or formal education for making these short videos. In addition to this, a significant portion of public is generating substantial amount of money through Youtube channels.
On contrary to this, many people contented that skillful people are not getting enough attention. That is not completely true because there are different fields that still appreciates the genuine talent. Although, going viral on social media by a single video is effortless, to sustain in market for a long term requires dedication and perseverance. For instance, audience on social media can promote a trending song for shorter duration but traditional companies prefer a person who can work in all circumstances regardless of the platform he is working on. Film directors do not hire actors who can act well on short videos, instead they choose the person with intrinsic acting abillities.
In conclusion, it is very simple for someone to get overnight fame on various entertaining platforms, even so ultimate success needs a person to be an export. Earning money without any skillset is not a game changing procedure, surviving for a long run is ultimate goal.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by exploring both sides of the argument: the rise of untrained individuals achieving fame and wealth via social media, and the counter-argument that genuine talent and long-term dedication still matter. The student presents a clear position ('I am partly agree with this viewpoint'), though the grammar contains a slight error ('partly agree' instead of 'partly agree'). The ideas are generally well extended and supported with relevant examples, such as the mention of lip-syncing videos and traditional film directors. However, some arguments could be pushed slightly deeper to reach the highest bands, placing this comfortably in the Band 7 category.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear progression from introduction to body paragraphs and a concluding summary. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. Cohesive devices are employed reasonably well, using transitions such as 'A key justification', 'Furthermore', 'On contrary to this', and 'In conclusion'. However, there are minor cohesion and referencing flaws, such as 'On contrary to this' (should be 'On the contrary') and minor awkwardness in linking. Overall, the organizational structure is clear and follows standard academic essay conventions, warranting a solid Band 7 score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student demonstrates an adequate to sufficient range of vocabulary suitable for the task, attempting less common items such as 'perseverance', 'intrinsic', and 'substantial'. However, there are several word choice, collocation, and form errors throughout the text, including 'real talented' instead of 'real talent', 'recgnition' (spelling error), 'fpr' (typographical error), 'lipsing' instead of 'lip-syncing', 'contented' instead of 'content' or 'contend', and 'export' instead of 'expert'. These errors do not impede communication, placing the response at a Band 6.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The writer uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, with examples of subordinate clauses and conditional ideas. However, there are several noticeable grammatical errors and awkward phrasings throughout, such as 'Nowdays' (spelling/word form), 'individuals with real talented failed' (subject-verb agreement and word form), 'I am partly agree' (incorrect verb phrase), and 'audience on social media can promote a trending song for shorter duration' (article omission). While these errors rarely impede overall communication, they occur with enough frequency to prevent the essay from reaching Band 7, making Band 6 an accurate reflection.
