Do you agree or disagree?
You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Few countries around the world have a perspective that anyone can do good in every field of modern life. Due to this many unworthy folks are getting the place of telented people and becoming wealthy and getting fame. Some people argue that it is a negative development other say that it is good for society. I completely agree with given notion that it is indeed a negative development. In this essay we gonna explore that thing not only a bad omen for talented people but it can also have serious effects on next generation.
As we can see in our daily lives that corruption is everywhere and noone issafe from it.From driving license to big corporate jobs there are lot of corrupt officers and they are really unworthy people. We know that these unworthy people can not get the place on their own it is always someone.
It can be thier relatives that use their links to get them what they want or they bribe someone.Their is big example in our national cricket where relatives of someone can play as long as want either they perform or not but the real talent remain hidden just beacayse they dont have connections or money to pursue their dreams.
This thing have serious effects on our next generation as they get dishearted by seeing the corrupt system. It can have serious effects in future as we may only see people on big stages whom have contacts or unlimited money
To sum up, untalented people can become a bigger issue in future as today they do not look as a bigger threat but future generations will be disappointed on us if we do not do something about it.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt's theme of untalented individuals becoming famous, but it deviates significantly into a discussion about general corruption and nepotism in driving licenses, corporate jobs, and cricket rather than focusing primarily on the arts as specified in the prompt. While a clear position is taken ("I completely agree with given notion"), the ideas are not fully developed in relation to the specific context of the arts. The body paragraphs wander into broader societal corruption, limiting the depth of task exploration. According to the band descriptors, this represents a partial addressing of the specific task demands, warranting a band score of 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The text is structured into discernible paragraphs with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by abrupt shifts in topic and weak transitional links. For instance, the transition from general corruption to the specific example of cricket is disjointed ("There is big example in our national cricket"). Referencing is sometimes unclear, and cohesive devices are basic or misused. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion within paragraphs is often faulty and mechanical. This aligns closely with the Band 5 descriptors.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student uses a limited vocabulary range that is minimally adequate for the task. There are frequent lexical errors and awkward collocations, such as "get the place of telented people", "getting fame", and "dishearted". Spelling errors like "telented", "thier", "beacayse", and punctuation/capitalization omissions are noticeable. While basic meaning is communicated, the vocabulary lacks precision and flexibility, with repeated use of words like "unworthy", "serious effects", and "future". This reflects a standard consistent with Band 5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but many of the complex attempts contain severe errors or awkward phrasing, such as "In this essay we gonna explore that thing not only a bad omen..." and "whom have contacts". Punctuation is frequently missing (e.g., missing commas, lowercase 'i' for 'I', missing apostrophes in "dont"). Frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ("this thing have", "the real talent remain") and missing articles ("in national cricket"), can cause some difficulty for the reader, placing the response securely at Band 5.
