Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people today, in some countries think that talaented people are neglected a lot rather than those who have no ability to show their positive aspects. In my view it is true in certain situations.
In some countries, people are more consious about their skills and they work on them very seriously also they are expecting a great output in their efforts however, sometimes they are not rewarded as much. There are a lot of reasons for this injustice.Firstly, the influence of social media is a major cause oftenly, some random videos goes viral and people become famous and somehow rich without putting too much efforts.A large number of influencers are earning through this easy terminology. For instance if one of their videos become viral they will definitely recognized all around and gain a large number of followers easily. Moreover this condition is not the same for everytime.Sometimes it is all about luck.
In spite of this, the hardworking pupils are neglected. Those who are having diffrent talents as well as appropriate abilities must b appreciated rather than those who had nothing to do with.Although talented people spent a lot of their time in gaining experience and skills. However if we compare the recent years with the past times the technology is more advance today and providing a lot of opportunities to those genius people.
In conclusion, the weightage of untalented individuals is more than the talented ones. A balance should be maintained among both of them,so that the hardworking and intelligent people not be neglected.Ultimately, the audience should focus on the quality and originally the artistic work of such people rather than depending only on the popularity.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The student addresses the prompt by expressing a clear view that the statement is true in certain situations. Ideas regarding social media influencers and luck are introduced, but they remain somewhat under-developed and lack specific, concrete examples to fully support the argument. For instance, mentioning that 'some random videos goes viral' touches on a relevant point, but it is not expanded with a clear illustration. The response touches upon the core of the task regarding genuine talent versus untrained popularity, though the progression could be deeper. This performance aligns best with Band 5.5, as it addresses the task and presents a clear position, but the ideas are limited and require further extension and more robust support to reach higher band levels.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay uses basic paragraphing, although spacing issues and missing punctuation occasionally disrupt the flow. Cohesive devices are used to connect ideas, such as 'Firstly', 'Moreover', and 'In conclusion', but some transitions feel mechanical or inappropriate for the context, as seen in phrases like 'easy terminology'. Paragraphing is attempted with a distinct introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion, but the logical progression between sentences can be disjointed at times. For example, the transition from discussing social media to the role of technology lacks a smooth logical bridge. Overall arrangement is coherent enough to follow, matching the criteria for a Band 5.5.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and flexibility expected at higher bands. The student attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'injustice', 'influence', and 'terminology', but there are noticeable lexical inaccuracies, such as 'easy terminology' (referring to an easy method) and spelling errors like 'talaented' and 'consious'. Word choice and collocation are frequently awkward, for instance, 'weightage of untalented individuals'. While meaning is generally conveyed despite these errors, the limited range and frequent inaccuracies place this response firmly at Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, though attempts at complex structures are often flawed by grammatical inaccuracies and punctuation errors. There are numerous missing spaces after commas and periods throughout the text (e.g., 'aspects. In my view', 'countries, people', 'Firstly, the'). Furthermore, grammatical errors such as 'videos goes viral', 'oftenly', 'those who had nothing to do with', and 'intelligent people not be neglected' frequently impede smooth readability. The frequency and nature of these errors indicate a lack of reliable control over complex structures, corresponding closely to a Band 5.0 score.
