Student answer (Band 5.5)
The arts is a broad aspect that have many zones like arts-music, literature, acting and art work. It is often argued that in some countries people think that this kind of proffesion and work can pursue by anyone. Others contend that due to this approach people without talent and potential to do art work can do this and earn more. Because of this trend original talent is not valued and appreciated. I agree with the perspective that nowadays there is no sense to praise the geniune talent but peeple cannot adopt these proffesions without inborn skill and expertise. Individuals with no talent may make possible to earn money in some ways but they cannot become famous without talent.
Although due to technological advancements there are many ways are adopted by people to get familiar with these jobs. These individuals have no power to complete their works with the originality and creativity. For example, a person cannot meet the experties and technical strokes of a painter who have no knowledge about it. All these departments need a proffesionlism and creative thinking that are not adopted by any lay person. Moreover, the individuals can make dramas and be an actor by using some links or due to nepotism but they cannot make possible to do things to impress the public.
Additionally, because of unethical behaviour of the public towards the most creative and fascinating industries, artists and painters face difficulties in their lives. Due to mass production of different kind of arts and dramas, originality of products is compromised. As a result talented individuals cannot able to mark the expected popularity. For instance, in the past, people just watched specfic actors and artists and they admired them due to their works. Now massive production of industries results in less interest of audience due to that pure talent is not recognized and valued.
In conclusion, I believe that geniune talent and natural thinking can never be replaced by casual work but beacuse of public behaviour, talented people are neglected. These kind of works need creativity and thinking. That are not able to adopt by all individuals.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the assertion that anyone can succeed in the arts and whether genuine talent is being sidelined, presenting a clear personal position throughout. However, the development of ideas remains somewhat limited and under-developed, which keeps the score at this level. While you introduce relevant concepts such as the role of technology and nepotism in the entertainment industry, some arguments lack sufficient extension and clarity. For instance, the transition between discussing technical painting strokes and nepotism in acting could be linked more cohesively to the main thesis. To move to a higher band, you need to fully elaborate your main points with more extended explanations and concrete, well-integrated examples rather than relying on generalized assertions.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction and conclusion, and the text is divided into appropriate paragraphs. Cohesive devices are used to signal logical relationships, such as 'Additionally,' 'For example,' and 'In conclusion,' which helps guide the reader through your arguments. However, cohesion is occasionally mechanical, and referencing can be imprecise at times, such as the dangling clause in the final paragraph ('That are not able to adopt by all individuals'). To achieve a higher score, you should ensure that cohesive devices connect ideas more naturally and that logical progression between sentences is smoother, avoiding repetitive transitions or abrupt shifts in focus.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
Your vocabulary provides an adequate range for the task, allowing you to discuss the arts and public perception. You attempt less common vocabulary items such as 'nepotism,' 'mass production,' and 'fascinating industries,' but these are accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling, such as 'proffesion,' 'geniune,' 'experties,' and 'proffesionlism.' Furthermore, expressions like 'make possible to do things' and 'cannot able to mark' demonstrate awkward collocations and lexical inaccuracies that cause some difficulty for the reader. To improve in this criterion, focus on refining your spelling and selecting precise, natural collocations suited to academic writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay employs a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating an attempt to construct varied syntax with relative clauses and conditional ideas. However, there is a limited range of structures successfully controlled, and frequent errors in grammar appear throughout the text. Issues include errors in subject-verb agreement ('The arts is', 'peeple cannot adopt'), awkward passive constructions ('are adopted by people', 'are not able to adopt by all individuals'), and fragment sentences ('That are not able to adopt by all individuals'). These frequent grammatical errors can cause occasional difficulty for the reader. To progress to a higher band, you must increase your control over complex sentence patterns and eliminate basic errors in agreement and voice.
