Student answer (Band 5.0)
People with no talent become rich and facmous and genuine talent is not valued or appreciated in most of the countries. Most of them have interested in muliple subjects like arts, music, literature, acting etc. and with attitude that "anyone can do it". I agree with the statement, little or limited exposure creates different pathways.
Firstly, people with focus mindsets and can do attitude achieve beyond from expectations. They manifest the process and do work hard for the financial independence. Mostly gives attention to one subject and grow their career to get a good job. Most of them get higher rank in same company and valued by human resource because of experience.
Secondly, people who focus on multiple domains like arts, digital, music, literature, and acting etc. also find their best passion to create financial freedom and earn more from multiple discplines. Other people get confused on knowing multiple talent and cannot assess them with the right talent. For example, Ali has an interest in both acting and singing, many people known him from his acting but he sings very well and very few appreciates his voice. Few others give him credits on his acting.
Hence, both views are important like focus on one field give better exposure and expertise which recogized easily, whereas, it takes more time to understand the multi-talented person.
In conclusion, right passion and focus goes beyond whereas, doing more things at once give more financial independence but requires alot of attention and focus in every field which sometimes diverted you from other things.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response addresses the task only partially. While the student expresses a clear position by stating "I agree with the statement," the development of ideas remains limited and under-developed. For instance, the discussion moves from general attitudes towards the arts into unrelated tangents about human resources, career progression, and financial independence in a corporate environment. The specific prompt regarding whether 'anyone can do it' in the arts and how genuine talent is unappreciated is only tangentially covered. Furthermore, 8 words were copied directly from the task prompt. To improve, the student needs to stay fully focused on the specific prompt theme throughout all body paragraphs and provide well-developed arguments directly related to artistic talent rather than shifting to general workplace success.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation with the use of introductory and concluding structures, along with basic transitional markers such as 'Firstly' and 'Secondly'. However, there is no clear overall progression of ideas. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal logical flow within paragraphs is frequently disrupted by sudden shifts in topic, such as jumping from the arts to human resource valuation. Cohesive devices are often used inaccurately or repetitively, making the progression feel disjointed. For example, referencing pronouns like 'them' in sentences such as 'Most of them have interested' and 'Mostly gives attention' creates ambiguity regarding who is being referred to. To achieve a higher band, the writer must ensure that each paragraph has a singular, clear focus and that cohesive ties connect ideas smoothly and logically from sentence to sentence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate to convey basic concepts related to the topic. There are noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word formation that cause some difficulty for the reader, such as 'facmous' instead of famous, 'muliple' instead of multiple, and 'discplines' instead of disciplines. The student attempts to use less common vocabulary like 'financial independence' and 'multi-talented', but inaccurate collocations and lexical slips remain frequent throughout the essay. To raise the lexical score to the next level, the writer needs to expand their range of vocabulary, pay closer attention to spelling and word forms, and use precise terminology relevant to the arts rather than relying on repetitive and inaccurate phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The text displays a very limited range of structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are frequent grammatical errors involving verb forms, subject-verb agreement, missing articles, and awkward prepositional patterns. Examples of these issues include 'Most of them have interested in muliple subjects' and 'right passion and focus goes beyond whereas, doing more things at once give more financial independence'. These frequent errors place a heavy burden on the reader and can occasionally distort the intended meaning. To improve, the writer should focus on mastering basic sentence structures, ensuring correct verb forms, and reducing the frequency of foundational grammatical errors by reviewing subject-verb agreement and punctuation.
