Student answer (Band 5.5)
In some countries, today it is believed that anybody can do it in arts-music, literature, acting, etc. Results in, people without talent gains popularity and earns huge wealth, but talented people are ignored. This topic has become a serious part of recent debates.I stronlgy agree with this statement, and in this essay im going to discuss the reason why i agreed.
Initially, in modern world many of people are gaining popularty on the base of vulgar content. Moreover, these people starts earning by showing their life style, daily routine, and meaningless content. Although, they have no talent but they still gain popularity among the nation and they severly damaging the career of talent people, and make them feel ignored. To illustrate, A recent survey by BBC reveals that large number of audience are fond of meaningless content and this is the most pressed reason why talented people are not valued.
Additionally, the ratio of talented people in practical fields are falling day by day since they felt ignored and less important even after being talented. Furthermore, this attitude leads to many false assumption such as talent has no value or people with lack of talent are more successful. To exemplify, an article by dawn reveals that talented people are leaving fields since talent is not valued.
Moreover, Favoritism also plays a significant role in this because people like to watch their favorite influencer even if the person is unskilled. Talent people still want to promote talent even after suffering from financial crisis. To illustrate, a recent survey by CNN reveals favouritism is the key factor behind the promotion of unskilled people.
In conclusion, i witnessed that social media and network can make it possible for untalented individuals to avhieve fame while skilled artists continue to earn through creativity and dedication.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: “I strongly agree,” and the essay stays focused on the idea that people without artistic ability can gain recognition while talented people are overlooked. You offer relevant reasons, including social-media content, audience preference and favouritism, and the examples attributed to BBC, Dawn and CNN help illustrate these points. However, some parts of the task are addressed more fully than others: the effects on talented artists are mentioned, but the essay does not explain in detail how fame or wealth is gained, or why genuine artistic work is undervalued. The final sentence also introduces the idea that skilled artists continue to earn through creativity, which sits uneasily with your overall argument. Develop each reason with clearer explanation and a consistent conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two main body paragraphs and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from social-media popularity to its effects on talented people, and linking expressions such as “Additionally,” “Furthermore” and “Moreover” signal new points. However, these transitions sometimes feel mechanical, and several ideas are placed together without a clear relationship. For example, the sentence about talented people promoting talent after suffering financial crisis is not clearly connected to the preceding point about favouritism. The conclusion also shifts towards saying skilled artists continue to earn, rather than clearly summarising the argument. Use fewer formulaic connectors, make the link between each claim and its explanation explicit, and ensure each paragraph develops one central point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “vulgar content,” “favouritism,” “financial crisis” and “talented people,” so the main ideas are understandable. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “plays a significant role” and “the key factor.” However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural word combinations reduce accuracy: “popularty,” “severly,” “avhieve,” “on the base of” and “false assumption” are examples. Repetition of “talent,” “people” and “popularity” also limits flexibility. Aim for precise collocations and vary how you refer to artists and recognition; proofreading spelling and word forms would make your vocabulary more effective and natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “Although” and “since,” and most of the argument remains understandable. However, errors in agreement, sentence construction and punctuation occur across the response. For example, “people without talent gains” should use a plural verb, while “these people starts earning” has the same agreement problem. “Although, they have no talent but…” incorrectly combines two contrasting structures, and “Results in, people…” is not a complete sentence. Capitalisation and apostrophes are also inconsistent in “i” and “im.” Practise building complete sentences with one clear main clause, check subject–verb agreement, and use either “although” or “but,” not both in the same construction.
