Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays , in some regions people believe that arts such as music , literature , acting , art is becoming more accessible without genuine talent can can easily achieve fame and wealth, whereas the individuals who are talented artists are not recognised properly. I partially agree with this statement as every skill need time to get perfect. I will discuss my opinion in forth coming paragraphs.
To begin with , in today's time everything is available on the internet either funny content or controversial videos on social media . People become famous by posting such content on the internet. They also gain millions of followers without having special artistic skills. For instance:- Some influencers are becoming wealthy by only getting sponsorships rather than any artistic achievement .Moreover, population prefer popularity over the quality as they only follow the trends instead of judging their artistic ability. Companies only sponsor those influencers who attract more views for getting profits.
On the other hand, in this scenario talent needs years of practice as musicians and actors improve their skills by dedication and training. Talent not only require high quality performance but also need creativity , discipline and experience. For instance, professional musicians spend many years mastering difficult music compositions.
In this society original and meaningful work an only influence the society which may remain popular for long run.
In conclusion, i would reiterate that , although social media can allow people with limited ability to gain wealth and recognition , I disagree that genuine talent is no longer valued. In my opinion, popularity may be temporary , whereas creativity, dedication and artistic quality remain important for long term success.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the claim and state a qualified position: social media can bring fame to people with limited ability, but genuine talent remains important. The examples of influencers gaining sponsorships and musicians practising for years are relevant to this argument. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For example, the claim that popularity is temporary and artistic quality brings long-term success would be stronger with a specific example or explanation of how audiences continue to value talented artists. Your opening also says “I partially agree,” while the conclusion says “I disagree that genuine talent is no longer valued”; clarify this distinction so your position is consistent and precise throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs, and a conclusion. “To begin with” and “On the other hand” help signal the shift between arguments, and the ideas generally progress from social-media popularity to the value of sustained artistic practice. Some connections are less clear or mechanical, however. The sentence beginning “In this society original and meaningful work” is not clearly linked to the preceding example, and “Moreover” is joined directly to the previous sentence without appropriate spacing or punctuation. Improve progression by explaining how each example supports the paragraph’s main point and by using referencing and transitions more naturally.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic-related vocabulary, including “sponsorships,” “artistic achievement,” “dedication,” “creativity,” and “mastering.” These choices allow you to discuss both online popularity and artistic skill. There are also some inaccurate or unnatural expressions that limit precision, such as “every skill need time to get perfect,” “population prefer popularity,” and “remain popular for long run.” The repeated use of “famous,” “talent,” and “popular” also makes parts of the response less varied. Aim for more natural collocations and precise terms—for example, distinguish between gaining online visibility and achieving artistic recognition. Check word forms and spelling as well, including “forthcoming” and “influence” where the intended meaning is “influential.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a contrast clause in “although social media can allow people…” and a relative clause in “those influencers who attract more views.” Meaning is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “arts such as music, literature, acting, art is” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “every skill need” and “Talent not only require” also need agreement. The opening sentence is difficult to follow because its clauses are not joined clearly, and the sentence beginning “In this society” lacks a complete, well-formed construction. Review agreement, sentence boundaries, and punctuation around introductory phrases; more consistently accurate complex sentences would improve control.
