Student answer (Band 5.5)
While some people believe that anyone one can do it in the case of art form , I believe only people with genuine talent and hardwork can achieve success and appreciated . I quote by this statement because the success which is obtained from the famous and richness wouldnt stay for much longer time as it get vanished into the dark once the factors leave the chart , but the talent is the only accept that stays with us little the end . Considering the present days scenario , the people who are famous once because of there money and fame are now at beneath the people with true talent . If the case of acting is considered money and fame cannot induce the acting skills and talent , they might bring people oppertunities but they cannot bring recognition and appreciation . The arts is one of the aspect that is needed to be present inbuilt or can be obtained from the hardwork . Considering SP Balasubhramanyam garu as an example , he is the most famous singer across india and most in other countries till he die and even after his death . With his talent and his hardwork he learn music and signing . Though he had great talent it took him 20 years to start his official signing journey which lasted till the last breath . Based on his fame and wealth they considered making his son a singer whos not well established , yet he got chances but not any appreciation or the value . Money and fame may act as a one of the chance for peope to reach closer to the art but does make it the only way to be valued . I conclude this assay by stating that money and fame are the rivers while talent in the art is considered to be an ocean

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you disagree with the idea that fame or money can replace genuine artistic ability. You address the topic through acting and singing, and the example of S. P. Balasubrahmanyam gives the argument a relevant personal focus. The contrast between his long career and his son receiving opportunities without comparable recognition also supports your point. However, some claims are asserted rather than explained—for example, that fame “get[s] vanished” when people leave the charts, and that talent lasts “till the end.” The discussion of how society undervalues genuine talent could be developed more directly, with a clearer explanation of what makes audiences or critics appreciate it. Overall, the response covers the task, but some ideas are less fully developed than others.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an identifiable line of argument: an opening position, examples from acting and music, and a concluding comparison between fame and talent. Phrases such as “Considering the present days scenario” and “Based on his fame and wealth” attempt to guide the reader through the discussion. However, the ideas are presented in one long paragraph, so the stages of the argument are not clearly separated. Several transitions feel mechanical, and the relationship between the claim about acting and the later singer example is not always explicit. The sentence beginning “Considering SP Balasubhramanyam garu as an example” also carries several points without clear breaks. Use separate paragraphs for the main argument and example, and make each transition show how the next point supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-relevant vocabulary, including “genuine talent,” “recognition,” “appreciation,” and “official singing journey,” and the final image of rivers and an ocean shows an effort to express the contrast memorably. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unclear, which sometimes makes the reader work to understand your meaning. Examples include “the only accept that stays,” “at beneath the people,” “induce the acting skills,” and “the arts is one of the aspect.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “oppertunities,” “signing” for singing, and “assay” for essay also reduce precision. Build a reliable set of phrases for discussing artistic ability, public recognition, and career success, and check that each word fits its context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with subordinate clauses, as in “Though he had great talent it took him 20 years…” This shows some range, and your main position can generally be understood. However, sentence structures are often faulty, especially when several ideas are joined together. For example, “the success which is obtained … wouldnt stay … as it get vanished” has problems with verb form and agreement, while “they might bring people oppertunities but they cannot bring recognition” needs clearer sentence punctuation. There are also errors with articles, plurals, and agreement, as in “one of the aspect” and “the arts is.” Practise building accurate sentences first, then combine them using clauses and conjunctions; careful proofreading for verb forms and sentence boundaries would improve control.
