Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays ,in few countries, there is alot of activities which is actually a talent but people cannot appreciate other people but they said that is not a talent, they say anyone can do it, like arts ,music, literature, acting and like these activities. As a result , the original talent is not valued and people with no talent become famous and rich.
I totally agreed with this statement.
Firstly, the social media changed the way of famous. In past , many people how are artists ,musicians, they required a lot of time to become famous on social media but nowadays, mostly people make the Video of their talent and can be uploaded on different platform like Tiktok, youtube, facebook and all other which become very common today. For example, a person who have talent to make the funny videos and talent to gain the attraction of people they make video and uploaded on different platforms and make millions of followers without any a lot of hardwork.
Secondly, the people how do a lot of hardwork and gave time to their talent people disappointed to them and ask them this is not a hard work any one can do this ,what you can do. Art ,music ,acting is actually a talent , which everyone don't have this talent. As usual, now a days people don't believe that work as talent they think it is common.
As cooking is also a talent but probably people cannot considered this ,they say this is common thing anyone can do this. People not considered a talent as a talent.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a clear position—“I totally agreed with this statement”—and your discussion of social media fame and the dismissal of artistic work is relevant to the question. The example of a creator gaining followers through funny videos gives some support to your first point. However, the response only partially develops the issue: it does not clearly explain how people without genuine artistic ability become rich, or compare their success with the lack of recognition for talented artists. The cooking example is introduced but not connected to the central claim, and several points repeat the idea that others say “anyone can do this.” Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a specific example linked directly to the question.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic structure, with an opening, a stated opinion, and two body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly” and “Secondly.” These markers help readers identify the main points. However, progression within the paragraphs is limited: the first moves from social media to funny videos without clearly connecting this example to the value of genuine artistic talent, while the second repeats the claim that people dismiss talent. The final cooking example feels added rather than integrated, and there is no concluding paragraph to bring the argument together. Some linking and reference are also unclear, such as “they” in the opening. Organise each paragraph around one distinct reason, explain the link between its example and your position, and finish with a brief conclusion.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “artists,” “musicians,” “talent,” “platform,” and “followers,” so the general subject is understandable. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “talent,” “people,” and “anyone can do this.” Some choices and combinations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “the way of famous,” “gain the attraction of people,” and “considered a talent as a talent.” These expressions sometimes make the intended meaning less clear. Build a wider set of precise phrases for discussing recognition and artistic ability, and check collocations when using them. For example, use “gain public attention” rather than “gain the attraction of people,” and “become famous” rather than “the way of famous.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including examples introduced with “For example” and “As.” However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often difficult to follow because of frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, and sentence construction. Examples include “there is alot of activities,” “a person who have talent,” and “they make video and uploaded.” The sentence beginning “As cooking is also a talent” is also not completed with a clear main clause. Punctuation and spacing around commas are inconsistent, which further affects readability. Practise forming accurate subject–verb patterns and keeping each sentence complete; then add longer structures only when you can control their grammar.
