Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You state a clear position—“I completely agree”—and identify two relevant reasons: social media can make average people popular, and companies may favour people with many followers over talent. However, the response addresses the question only minimally. These points are not explained with a developed example or evidence, and the final paragraph about people posting reels does not clearly show how genuine artists are undervalued. The response also falls 114 words short of the required minimum, leaving too little space to develop your argument. To strengthen this criterion, explain how popularity or marketing can outweigh artistic ability, support each reason with a specific example, and make the link to the question explicit throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is an attempt to organise the response: the opening gives your opinion, and phrases such as “First of all” and “To begin with” signal new points. However, the ideas are not arranged into a clear, coherent progression. The paragraph beginning “First of all” introduces several claims, but the relationship between gaining skills, earning money, and companies choosing influencers is unclear. “To begin with” then appears to restart the discussion rather than develop the previous point, and the response ends without a conclusion. Use one paragraph for each main reason, connect each explanation directly to the question, and finish by restating your position. Clearer sequencing would make your argument easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “talent,” “fame,” “marketing,” “followers,” and “entertainment,” so the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make ideas difficult to understand, such as “high money,” “un use rells,” and “real artists are ignored.” There are also repeated references to “people” and “skills,” with few precise alternatives to describe artists, popularity, or artistic quality. Aim to use accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, “earn a high income” is more natural than “high money,” while “gain popularity” can express becoming well known more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and a longer sentence with “because,” as in “I completely agree with this view because social media gives quick popularity to average people.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but grammatical control is inconsistent and errors frequently make the intended meaning unclear. Examples include “A number of country face today,” where the subject and verb do not agree, and “Many company perfer … even if, they are do not have talent,” which has problems with number, clause structure, and verb form. Sentence patterns are mostly basic, and punctuation around clauses is unreliable. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and build clear sentences with one main idea before adding subordinate clauses.
