Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You state a clear view in the introduction (“I am strongly agree”) and repeat that you agree in the conclusion. However, the response only minimally addresses the specific claim about untalented people becoming rich and famous while genuine artists are undervalued. Most of the body discusses personal ambition, copying famous people, setting goals, and using inspiration; it does not explain how fame or wealth is gained without talent, or how talented artists are affected. The example about seeing a famous person is difficult to connect to the question and is not developed as evidence. To strengthen the response, build two relevant reasons for your position and support each with a clear example tied directly to the arts and public recognition.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and the final paragraph returns to your stated agreement. Some progression is also signalled by phrases such as “To the begin” and “In conclusion.” However, the body paragraphs do not develop a clear sequence of arguments about the question, and the second paragraph shifts into advice about goals and motivational phrases. Connections between sentences are often unclear, while repeated use of “than,” “goal,” and “person” makes the writing feel repetitive. Several long stretches run together without effective punctuation, so it is hard to see where one idea ends and another begins. Organise each body paragraph around one relevant point, then use clear linking and sentence boundaries to show how its example supports your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary related to the topic, including “arts,” “famous,” “talent,” “inspiration,” and “achieve,” and you try to express ideas about ambition and recognition. However, the range is often repetitive, and several word choices or phrases make the intended meaning difficult to follow, such as “my variety,” “same position with same personality,” and “incredible positions.” There are also spelling and word-form problems, including “subsequentily,” “destract,” and “batter.” These issues limit precision when discussing the central ideas of artistic ability, popularity, and appreciation. Work on accurate topic-specific collocations and check spelling; for example, use “gain fame” or “become popular” rather than repeating “make a famous person.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the response includes some basic sequencing and conditional ideas. However, grammatical control is inconsistent, and errors frequently make relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “I am strongly agree,” “every person look,” and “they can watch famous person he set the aim,” where verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence structure need correction. Tense and pronoun use also shift, as in “I will came back on our aim.” Punctuation is often missing, especially in the long body paragraphs, creating run-on sentences. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “when,” or “although.” Check subject–verb agreement, articles, and verb forms during revision.
