Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, in some countries there is a growing population who thinks anyone can achieve success in the entertainement industry, which leads to a lot of getting rich and famous without any real talent. I partially agree with this view because a lot of people getting opportunities for social media hype and lack of talented artists.
While I do believe anybody can be successful with consistent discipline and dedication, some people think they can be successful without proper trainning and craftmanship. One of the main reasons why people think like this is because of the growing number of social media influencers with not much talent. It has become easier for people to get attention in a short period of thime. Earlier, people needed yaers of dedication and experience to be successful in media industry. For example, there have been cases where movies producers casted people based on their social media following instead of experience or talent. However, it was unimaginable earlier as people needed pedigrees on relevant fields to get work. This tendency of giving people opportunities based on social media hype leads to people with real talent getting no recognitions.
Another reason why I agree with this is, the lack of talent in the media industry. A lot of people think there has been a decline in the quality of arts produced across different media in recent years. It is happening likely because, artists who are busy honing their craft are not in social media. Consequently, they are getting denied from work because of low social media presence which results in the current low quality of arts. For example, a lot of indie artists are not getting projects because they do not have the following of their counterparts. This results in talented people not getting opportunities they deserve.
Although I agree people can achieve anyone can achieve success in any industry, it needs to be through proper skills and expertise. Otherwise, talented people would get ignored, while others would shine for reasons that should not be relevant.
In conclusion, while success can be achieved through years of dedication, nowadays people are getting oppoortunities not for their talent but for social media influence. Additionally, lack of competent individuals in entertainment sector makes me believe people with talent are not getting recognized for their work.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you partially agree that people without strong artistic ability can become successful, while arguing that social-media popularity can disadvantage genuine talent. Both sides of this view are addressed, and the examples about producers choosing actors for their following and indie artists missing projects are relevant. However, some claims are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the idea that social media has caused a decline in artistic quality would be stronger with a clearer link between online popularity and the quality of the work produced. Your opening also refers to a “lack of talented artists,” which is not quite the same as the task’s concern that talent is undervalued. Develop that distinction and explain your partial agreement more precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting reasons, a qualification, and a conclusion. Paragraphs generally focus on one main point, and linking expressions such as “For example,” “Consequently,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the argument. Some connections are less smooth or precise, however. The first body paragraph moves from influencers to casting decisions and then to recognition without fully explaining each step. The sentence beginning “Although I agree people can achieve anyone can achieve success” also repeats itself and interrupts the progression. In addition, “Another reason why I agree with this” is vague about which part of the position it supports. Use clearer references to your argument and make the cause-and-effect links explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic-related vocabulary, including “social media influencers,” “dedication,” “honing their craft,” and “social media presence.” These choices help communicate the central argument, and you attempt some less common expressions. At times, however, word choice and collocation are inaccurate or repetitive: “a lot of getting rich and famous,” “pedigrees on relevant fields,” and “getting denied from work” do not sound natural in context. There are also spelling errors, including “entertainement,” “trainning,” “thime,” and “oppoortunities.” These do not prevent understanding, but they reduce precision and polish. Aim for more natural academic collocations and proofread spelling; vary repeated terms such as “talent,” “people,” and “opportunities.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex forms, including subordinate clauses with “because,” “while,” and “which,” and most of the argument remains understandable. Some grammatical errors occur, particularly in sentence construction and verb forms. For example, “a lot of people getting opportunities” is not a complete clause as written, and “movies producers casted people” has an incorrect plural construction and verb form. The sentence “Although I agree people can achieve anyone can achieve success” contains a repeated and confused structure. There are also issues with articles and prepositions, as in “in media industry” and “denied from work.” Work on building complete clauses, checking subject–verb patterns, and editing sentences for repetition. Greater accuracy in these areas would make your complex ideas easier to follow.
