In some countries today, there is an attitude that 'anyone can do it' in the arts - music, literature, acting, art, etc. As a result, people with no talent become rich and famous and genuine talent is not valued or appreciated.
Do you agree or disagree?
You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
I strongly agree, In this modern era people tend to do whatever they like and influced others that each person is capable for arts such as music, literature, music, drama and art. For such reasons individuals who has real talent are been less priotirized.
Now-a-days youngters and adults are using social media such as facebook, instagram and tiktok to make oneselves famous. For instance, people are crazy about sharing their talents, though they do not have proper structure. People are basically singing and dancing or even showing paintings which are not valuable but still they got the craze from their viewers and at the same point they earn money from social media. As a result, those who have actual talents failed to define their acitivties in a long run. In addition, those who run adds or have pid viewers win the match.
Another major reason is that youngsters have that courged that they can do anything, whether they have the knowlege or not. For this reason, they do not even bother to learn from actual artists. As a result, they are destroying the art like music, drama and other activitist, which represents one country's tradition and culture. Another example, if we look at celebreties they do not carry the charm that they used to carry before. Now eveybody are becoming celebrity, they are singing or even sharing food and travel blogs. There are no true aspects that people used to see before on TV in previous years.
To summarize, I largely agree that citizens should choose talents of a person wisely, otherwise they will loose the actual gem.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the opening—“I strongly agree”—and remains consistent in the conclusion. You address the prompt by arguing that social media can reward people whose artistic ability is limited, while genuine artists receive less recognition. The examples of singing, dancing, paintings, and online celebrity are relevant. However, some claims are broad or not fully explained: for example, the link between young people’s confidence and “destroying the art” is asserted rather than demonstrated, and the point about paid viewers is not developed. To strengthen the response, explain more precisely how popularity or commercial promotion displaces skilled artists, and support each main reason with a clearer example or consequence.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting reasons, and a concluding summary. Paragraphs generally have clear central topics, and connectors such as “For instance,” “As a result,” and “In addition” help show relationships between ideas. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical because several sentences rely on the same cause-and-effect pattern, and some links are unclear. For example, “those who run adds or have pid viewers win the match” follows the discussion of social media but its connection to genuine artists is not explained. The transition from young people’s confidence to cultural damage also needs a clearer chain of reasoning. Use more precise referencing and vary how you connect examples to your claims.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “actual artists,” “tradition and culture,” “viewers,” and “celebrity,” and you attempt to express ideas about recognition and artistic value. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or spelling errors make parts of the argument difficult to interpret, such as “influced,” “priotirized,” “courged,” and “activitist.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise: “failed to define their activities in a long run” and “win the match” do not clearly express the intended meaning. Aim for accurate topic-specific collocations, such as “gain recognition,” “professional training,” and “commercial success,” and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “though,” “whether,” and “if,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. Examples include “individuals who has,” “are been less,” “everybody are becoming,” and “they will loose the actual gem.” The opening also joins “I strongly agree” to the next clause with a comma, where a full stop or suitable conjunction is needed. These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas less clear. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms, and revise complex sentences to ensure each clause is grammatically complete.
