Student answer (Band 6.0)
The 'anyone can do it' attitude is widely discussed topic in many countries these days. It is rapidly emerging attitude in the youngsters, as they are trying to pursue any field they like, which is quite positive way of appreciating your ownself. The talented one or the non-talented one, they both have the same opportunities.
The people with genuine talent are not valued has nothing to do with the non-talented poeple. For instance, tiktok is a quick famous technique these days and it is available for both talented and non-talented people, so, why not use it and present your talent to the audience. Lets take an example of acting, Avneet Kaur is a famous personality in bollywood, she showcased her talent on tiktok while giving auditions and she got selected by one of her tiktok videos.
On the other hand, the people with no talent are becoming rich and famous is an inappropriate remark. I would say that, in some cases, a non-talented person may get famous by doing some negative activities, but eventually that will not last longer. I would like to give an example of Mellstroy, a russian streamer, who got rich and famous by doing negative things. At last, everthing that was built fell apart. On contrast, Avneet Kaur is still valid and is pursuing her acting.
Therefore, the original talent is valued and is required in every field on the earth, whether, it is music, litreature, acting or anything. The field of arts is quite extrovert and the person should carry 'anyone can do it' attitude with them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You present a clear position: you reject the claim that genuine talent is not valued and argue that people with different levels of talent have equal opportunities. The examples of Avneet Kaur and Mellstroy are relevant and help illustrate your view. However, the discussion addresses the prompt unevenly. The point that fame gained through negative behaviour may not last is explained briefly, while the claim that genuine talent is valued is asserted more than demonstrated. The TikTok example also shows how someone can gain exposure, but does not fully establish that talent is what led to success or appreciation. Develop each main claim with clearer reasoning and explain more directly how your examples support your answer.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting points, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “For instance,” “On the other hand,” and “Therefore” help signal the direction of the argument. However, some connections between ideas are unclear or mechanical. For example, “The people with genuine talent are not valued has nothing to do with the non-talented people” is difficult to follow, and the shift from TikTok exposure to auditions needs a clearer explanation. The conclusion also introduces the idea that the arts are “quite extrovert” without connecting it fully to the preceding argument. Use clearer topic sentences and make each paragraph develop one central point in a more logical sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “genuine talent,” “pursue,” “auditions,” and “negative activities.” These choices make your position and examples understandable. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “quick famous technique,” “original talent,” and “is still valid” when describing a person’s continuing career. There are also spelling errors, including “poeple,” “everthing,” and “litreature,” which reduce the accuracy of the writing. Aim for more precise expressions and check spelling carefully. For example, describe TikTok as a platform that can quickly bring someone attention, and use “lasting success” or “continues to be successful” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “a non-talented person may get famous by doing some negative activities, but eventually that will not last longer.” Most sentences communicate the intended meaning, but some grammatical errors and punctuation problems remain. For example, “is widely discussed topic” needs an article, and “The people with genuine talent are not valued has nothing to do…” combines clauses without a clear grammatical link. The sentence beginning “The talented one or the non-talented one” is also awkwardly structured. Work on articles, clause boundaries, and sentence construction, especially when joining contrasting ideas. More consistently controlled complex sentences would make the argument easier to follow.
