Student answer (Band 5.5)
It often became a center of debate that people with no talent are getting wealthy and popular, whereas the real talented individuals are not appreciated and valued. It is highly debatable in the context of considering art as everyone is capable of doing it. I totally disagree with this point of view that the talent is not valued or appreciated and the people with no talent are becoming famous.
This essay will not only eloborate on my viewpoint but also provides relevant examples to support it.
To commence with, one of the most significant point regarding art, that everyone has their own diffirent genres which could be chosen on the basis of their interest. Therefore, pointing the art on the basis of this perception that art is easy is not encourable. Furthermore, everyone have a full leverage to choose what they want to do so it dimisses the comparison between human being. For example, a person chose to be an actor and by that if he got fame on the basis of his looks and not because of his acting then it does not shows that the person is not talented.
Moreover, there are a lot of individuals who gets appreciation and fame only on the basis of art. They were talent and got valued by the audiance. For instance, Picaso was an artist, when were no digital platforms, he got a huge fame becuase of his paintings.
In conclusion to this, art has its different and several kinds of forms and everyone is allowed to choose to create, to show, to represents what they want to.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear in the introduction: you disagree that genuine talent is undervalued and that people without talent become famous. You also offer relevant points about different artistic fields and use Picasso as an example. However, the response only partially develops the question. The point about an actor becoming famous for looks rather than acting does not clearly explain why this person should still be considered talented, and the Picasso example shows that a talented artist can be appreciated without addressing whether this is true today or whether less-talented people also gain fame. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and directly compare the two claims in the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To commence with” and “Moreover” help indicate the sequence of points. However, progression between ideas is not always clear. The first body paragraph moves from different artistic genres to personal choice and then to an actor’s appearance, without making the links between these points explicit. The conclusion repeats the idea that people can choose different art forms but does not bring together the main reasons for your disagreement. Use clearer topic sentences and explain how each example supports the central argument; vary linking phrases so they guide the reasoning rather than simply announce a new point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “genres,” “appreciation,” “fame,” and “digital platforms,” and you attempt more formal expressions such as “point of view” and “significant.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “pointing the art” and “full leverage” do not express the intended ideas clearly, while “they were talent” uses the wrong form. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “eloborate,” “diffirent,” “audiance,” and “Picaso.” Choose simpler, precise expressions when unsure, and check spelling and common word partnerships during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including the contrast introduced by “whereas” and the conditional example beginning “if he got fame.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences hard to understand. Examples include “one of the most significant point,” “everyone have,” and “it does not shows,” which show problems with number agreement and verb forms. The sentence beginning “For instance, Picaso was an artist, when were no digital platforms” is also incomplete or incorrectly connected. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea at a time, then check subject–verb agreement, articles, and clause structure before adding more complex forms.
