Student answer (Band 6.0)
Some people think that the attitude of ordinary people thinking of putting a landmark on the different forms of arts without any talent, sometimes provokes the real talents, not getting enough attention to outshine. I totally agree with this opinion because people now-a-days seek attention to be famous by using social medias without any appropriate skill and the genuine artists are lagging behind.
In this modern world, most of the people are using social media platforms on internet. A major portion of them are using their accounts to promote their works on different kind of arts and getting attention from their followers though they are not worthy enough to excel in the particular field. Some of them are setting their accounts for monetization, as a result, they are also earning money by promoting their contents. The attitude of doing anything is the reason behind this.
The genuine artists are neither getting enough exposure nor being appreciated. In the past, there were some reality shows or competition took places and broadcasted through different channels on television. On those platforms, judges from different categories were present to evaluate the contestants to bring out the real talents. In recent years, the real talents are losing opportunity due to lack of this kind of real life competition.
In conclusion, availability of internet has given rise to the people without any talent, consequently, the genuine talents are not valued properly. I absolutely agree to this statement because people are using social medias for entertainment and giving attention to those untalented people while the capable artists are struggling without any appreciation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction (“I totally agree”) and is maintained in the conclusion. You address the central concern by linking social-media popularity and monetisation with reduced recognition for skilled artists. These are relevant ideas, and the examples of online accounts and televised competitions help explain your view. However, some points are asserted rather than fully demonstrated: for instance, you say genuine artists are “losing opportunity” because there are fewer real-life competitions, but do not explain how this directly follows or provide a specific example. The response also focuses mainly on social media, leaving other ways that people without talent may become famous less explored. Develop each main claim with clearer reasoning and a concrete illustration.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present related points, and a conclusion restates your position. The progression from online promotion to the difficulties faced by genuine artists is understandable. Basic linking phrases such as “as a result,” “In recent years,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear. The move from social-media monetisation to “The attitude of doing anything” is not fully explained, and the relationship between fewer competitions and artists receiving less exposure needs a clearer link. Some references, such as “those platforms,” are understandable but could be more precise. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main claim, then connect examples explicitly to that claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “monetization,” “promote,” “exposure,” “evaluate,” and “appreciated,” which allows you to discuss the topic beyond very basic terms. Some less common expressions are attempted, but several choices or collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “putting a landmark on the different forms of arts,” “real talents,” and “setting their accounts for monetization.” “Social medias” is also not the natural form in this context. These choices sometimes make the intended meaning less immediate, even though the overall argument remains understandable. Aim for precise, conventional combinations—for example, “gain recognition in the arts,” “genuine artists,” and “enable monetisation”—and check plural forms and spelling consistently.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “though,” and “as a result.” Most of the argument remains understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “the real talents are losing opportunity” needs an article or plural form (“losing opportunities”), while “competition took places” has an incorrect verb form and agreement. In “the attitude of ordinary people thinking of putting…,” the opening construction is difficult to control, and “people now-a-days seek” has an awkwardly formed time expression. There are also issues with articles and sentence construction in “a major portion of them are using their accounts.” Practise building clear subject–verb patterns and checking articles, plurals, and verb forms, especially in longer sentences.
