Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays in some countries people with no talent in arts, literature, music etc becoming rich and famous. As a result, original talent is not valued. I agree with this statement because there are some reasons for that untalented easily gain fame for example, financial background, marketing, etc.
There are many people whose do not have any talent but they are famous because they have money. They get fame by buying luxury cars and expenisve antique show pieces and then create a video from AI. Furthermore upload it on social media and get fame. Furthermore, if we look at their educational background, we find out that they have not completed matriculation for example my friend's father have a lot of money and they bought all that things from which they get fame. So that's why original talent is hidden.
Some people have marketing skills to get fame. They know how to create a specific content and how to promote that content through different platforms.
For example a great author says in their interview that i am a great artisit and i achieve this title in 15 years but my friend achieve this title within a year by sharing there content in social media and also he have marketing skills. So by this they get fame and our hidden talent remains hidden.
To conclude that some people do not have talent but they get fame and original talent is not valued. I agree with statement due to some reasons that untalented people have strong finances to promote their content, have marketing skills to market their videos by this they become famous and original talent remains hidden.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that people without artistic talent can become famous while genuine talent is overlooked. You give two relevant reasons—financial resources and marketing—and attempt to illustrate them with examples. However, the ideas are only partly developed. The example about buying luxury cars and making AI videos does not clearly show how this proves a lack of artistic ability, and the reference to your friend’s father and education is difficult to connect to the main claim. The author interview example also needs clearer explanation and more credible detail. To strengthen the response, explain how these factors affect public attention and why this reduces recognition for talented artists, while developing each example more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs focused on different reasons, and a conclusion that restates your view. This gives the reader a basic route through your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, particularly where the discussion moves from money and luxury purchases to educational background. Linking phrases such as “Furthermore” are repeated, and some connections are mechanical rather than showing the precise relationship between ideas. References such as “they” and “that things” also make it hard to identify who or what is meant. Organise each body paragraph around one main point, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence; use more precise referencing and varied transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “marketing skills,” “promote,” “content,” and “original talent,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the argument harder to understand. For example, “get fame” is repeated instead of using a more natural phrase, and “antique show pieces” does not clearly describe the items you mean. There are also spelling errors such as “exp enisve” (written as “exp enisve” in the response) and “artisit,” alongside imprecise phrases such as “hidden talent remains hidden.” Build a wider set of accurate expressions for artistic recognition, public attention, and promotion, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences and use clauses with “because,” “whose,” and “if,” but control is inconsistent, and many sentences contain errors that can make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “people with no talent in arts … becoming rich” lacks a finite verb, while “There are many people whose do not have any talent” uses an incorrect relative pronoun and verb form. Agreement and tense are also problematic in “my friend's father have” and “my friend achieve.” Several sentences begin with fragments, including “Furthermore upload it on social media,” and punctuation around the examples is weak. Practise accurate simple sentence patterns first, then combine them with subordinate clauses, checking verb forms, agreement, and complete sentence structure.
