Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is commonly seen that 'anyone can do it' attitude about creative arts activities in any nations. Because of this, real talent of singers, authours, actors and artist have not been valued. As a result, people with no talent become rich and catches public eye.

I strongly agree, Artists with real talent in all fields should be appreciated instead of people with no talent who become famous with taking advantage of public's attitude.

There are number of artists in many countries who take efforts to develop their skills. There is hardwork behind their talent however public take it for granted. When we watch their work we easily say it is not that hard 'anyone can do it'. In example, There is technological advancement in AI. So, people who draw the sketches have not been valued, nowdays, we can make sketches using AI as a result people saying anyone can make using AI and many prompt engineers getting paid for these and became rich.

We watch the films and ott series oftenly, they entertain us. But many people in society believe some actors are lucky and they got chance. If any person get chance like them then he/she will do it easily. For instance, genuine talent which artist which develop with hardwork not appreciated so the social media pages and review papers on any film, authors book and their personalities becoming famous among public and making money.

In conclusion, I believe that, people with no talent become famous instead of real talent by taking advantage of public attitudde of not appreciating the artists hardwork.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you agree that people without strong artistic ability can gain fame and money while genuine talent is overlooked. The examples about AI-generated sketches and actors being seen as merely lucky are relevant, and you explain the general concern behind each. However, the discussion remains broad: the film and social-media example is difficult to follow, and the essay does not fully explain how public attitudes lead to genuine artists receiving less recognition. The conclusion repeats the main claim rather than drawing the argument together. The response is 249 words, one word below the 250-word minimum; the 10 words copied from the prompt were not counted. Develop the examples with clearer cause-and-effect reasoning and ensure the response meets the required length.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally relate to your position. You also use linking expressions such as “Because of this,” “As a result” and “For instance.” However, progression within the body paragraphs is sometimes unclear. For example, the move from actors being considered lucky to social-media pages and review papers making money is not sufficiently explained, so the relationship between these points is hard to follow. Some transitions are also mechanical, and the conclusion largely repeats the introduction. Organise each paragraph around one main point, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence; use references such as “these platforms” only when their meaning is unmistakable.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “genuine talent,” “develop their skills,” “technological advancement” and “public’s attitude.” These phrases help communicate your central argument. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or awkward, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear. Examples include “any nations,” “take efforts,” “take it for granted” in this context, and “getting paid for these.” There are also spelling and form errors such as “authours,” “nowdays” and “attitudde.” Aim to use more precise expressions for recognition and artistic work, and check spelling and collocations carefully. Replacing repeated general terms such as “people” and “famous” with context-specific alternatives would also make the discussion more exact.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including cause-and-effect structures such as “Because of this” and “When we watch their work…”. However, errors are frequent, and some sentences are difficult to interpret. For example, “There are number of artists” is missing an article, while “real talent of singers… have not been valued” has problems with article use and subject–verb agreement. The sentence beginning “For instance, genuine talent which artist which develop…” is structurally unclear, and “If any person get chance” has errors in verb form and article use. Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, particularly after commas and full stops. Practise building accurate sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement, articles and verb forms.
