Student answer (Band 5.5)
Now a days, there is an attitude that anyone can do it whatever is the task, whether it is about music, literature, acting, dance, art and etc. Due to this many people thinks they can do whatever they wantwithout having any special talent resulting in no value for real artist.
We are now in the era, where technology is at its peak. If you want to become famous, you just need to download some applications, make any kind of weird video and you can become popular within a night. You dont need to do any extra effort. You can be rich withou being talented. Similarly, If you don't have the singing skills whether you don't know anything about music, you could become a singer with the help of autotune software.
However, the person who is really talented, best at music composing or doing best in acting, not getting people attention or any award from the authorities. Instead of talented people , the least talented people are getting rewards and becoming public figure. Drama and film industry are casting them due to their fame. In production or director point of view, they will get more views by casting the untalented YouTubers or Tiktors.
In my opinion, I totally disagree with their attitude, because they think that they are superior from all and they can get whatever they want. But they can not make them respectable in everyone's eyes. Because of them real legends are lost.
In conclusion, people should realize that who are the actual heros as all th glitters are not gold. Respect the real talent and don't be impressed by their fake life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You take a clear position against the idea that anyone can succeed in the arts, and your examples about social-media videos, autotune, and casting popular online personalities are relevant to the question. However, the response only partly develops the issue: it focuses mainly on how people without talent become famous, while the claim that genuine talent is not valued is asserted rather than supported with a specific example or explanation. Your opening also describes the attitude but does not clearly establish your own position until later. To strengthen the response, state your view directly in the introduction and explain the consequences for talented artists, using a concrete example or a more developed chain of reasoning. The conclusion repeats your view but adds little support.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, an opinion paragraph, and a conclusion. The progression from social media to the entertainment industry is generally understandable, and linking expressions such as “Similarly,” “However,” and “In conclusion” help signal shifts. However, the overall argument does not develop smoothly: the paragraph beginning “In my opinion” introduces a claim about people feeling superior that is not clearly connected to the earlier discussion. Some connections are also mechanical or unclear, particularly “Instead of talented people” and the transition from fame to awards. Improve progression by organising each body paragraph around one main reason, then explicitly linking its example to your position. Clearer referencing and more precise transitions would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “autotune software,” “music composing,” “public figure,” and “production,” and you attempt to express ideas about fame and talent in several ways. However, the range is limited and some word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, which can make the meaning less natural: for example, “get people attention,” “casting them due to their fame,” and “real legends are lost.” There are also spelling and form errors such as “Tiktors,” “heros,” and “th glitters,” alongside informal phrasing such as “weird video.” Aim for more precise, formal expressions and check spelling carefully. For instance, describe artists as “receiving public recognition” and explain that producers may cast online personalities to attract viewers.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If you want to become famous” and “If you don't have the singing skills.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. Examples include subject–verb disagreement in “many people thinks,” the incomplete construction “whether you don't know anything about music,” and the fragment “Because of them real legends are lost.” Other sentences have faulty structure, such as “the person who is really talented … not getting people attention.” Work on complete sentence formation, agreement, and clause structure; read each sentence aloud to check that it has a clear subject and verb. More accurate control of these basic patterns would make your ideas easier to understand.
