The diagram below shows the process for making a water clock.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The diagrammatical representation articulates the information about the steps involved in the procedure of making a water clock.

It can be clearly seen that in the first step the tap water is poured into the plastic bottle which is attached to the stand with help of tape. The hole in the lower part of the bottle is covered with finger and water is filled till top in a constant level and it comes out through the straw which is attached horizontally to the bottle with the help of glue.

After that, water from the bottle comes in the form of drops when finger is kept aside and it is stored into the water bottle with no neck. Subsequently, the water is removed and the process again starts from beginning for timing things.

Overall, it is vivid that all the steps are interlinked and omission of any one step may hinder the whole process.
