The diagram below shows the process for making a water clock.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

HOW TO BUILD YOUR OWN WATER CLOCK

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The picture illustrates the set up for creating a clock with the help of water. The equipments that are required for this purpose :tap, two empty water bottles and stand . Th first step is placing the things in their position. Put the tap on top and then hang the empty bottle with the stand below the tap with the use of tape and down this arrangement place an another empty bottle. Create a hole at the bottom of first bottle and place a finger to cover this point. Now turn on tap untill the upper bottle fill with water and it starts coming out. At this point remove the finger and the water begin to come out and continue to fall in the empty bottle. Highlight the flow of water level per minute by marking according to the height of water. For recording time empty this bottle and do this task again.
