Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is true that, despite having a life time experience in some countries it is very difficult to find a well paid job for the individuals who crossed the age 50. There is a different kind of reason for this situation. In this eassy I will discuss about the reason behind it and try to give some sollution to solve this problem.
The job holder in some countries does not want to leave their job till their age of retiredment because they do not have much oppertunities to try new job for instnace, a salesman who have proper experience of job despite of his experience he can not get another job if there is no such options therefore they remain in the same place and do their job and it become a barrier to others who wants to try new job. Furthermore, most people does not want to take the risk of joining new job they become comfortable with their job and it leads to no job vacancy left for other interested worker. Again, some job provider believe that young worker will attract customer and they will work fast tand the old one for example in cosmetics shop their is a tendency to give more priority to young girls abecause they present in front a customer in a attractive way that is why the job provider are more comfortable to take the young inexperienced one than the experienced old one.
To eradicate these problems every one should have positive attitude towards the older worker. They should judge their potential not the age they are in. Furtherrmore, there should be no age limit for joining new job. The older worker who wants to try new job should be appreciated by all so that they feel more courageous towards their work. Government and other private sectors should give extra importance for those who crossed the age 50 and encourage them to work. Their life time work experience will help them in so many sectors if they get proper work oppertunities.
In conclusion, every person should encourage the people over 50 to try new job and there should be no age limit for the job. This little changes of attitude will solve so many social problem in some society.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both causes and possible measures, and your position is clear: older workers face barriers and should be judged by their ability rather than age. The examples about workers staying in existing jobs and employers preferring younger staff in cosmetics shops are relevant. However, the causes are not always explained precisely: the point about older employees remaining in jobs is presented as a barrier to vacancies, but the link to why people over 50 cannot obtain good jobs needs clearer development. The proposed measures—positive attitudes, no age limits and government encouragement—are also broad and would benefit from practical detail, such as age-discrimination rules or retraining programmes. More explanation of how each measure addresses a stated cause would make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the overall direction. You also use linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “Again,” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within the causes paragraph is sometimes difficult to follow: the discussion moves from older workers staying in jobs to employers’ preferences without clearly connecting these points. Some transitions feel mechanical, and long sentences combine several ideas, making relationships less clear. For example, the salesman example and the claim that workers’ staying put blocks others could be separated and explained more directly. Use clearer topic sentences and make each paragraph develop one main point in a logical sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “experience,” “job vacancy,” “potential,” “age limit” and “work opportunities.” These choices make the main ideas understandable. However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “life time experience,” “job provider,” “try new job” and “extra importance.” Spelling errors are also noticeable, including “eassy,” “sollution,” “oppertunities” and “retiredment,” which reduce the accuracy and polish of the writing. Aim to learn common employment collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for discrimination, recruitment and professional development would help you express the causes and solutions with greater clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “if” and “that,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence boundaries. For example, “a salesman who have” should use a singular verb, while “most people does not want” has a subject–verb agreement problem. In “they remain in the same place and do their job and it become a barrier,” the verb form and the connection between clauses need correction. Several sentences run on, particularly in the causes paragraph. Practise building shorter, accurate sentences first, then combine ideas with controlled subordinate clauses and check agreement and punctuation.
