Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some countries support the old age people to get job but some countries do not support it. Below paragraphs I gave the causes of the problem as well as solutions of it.
First of all the main reason most of the people thought that people after fifty becomes old, tired and physically unfit. They cannot do the work with interest because they thought that a person after fifty lacks their interest in a work he did. Solution of this problem is that government should made a platform in which the only old age people participate. In this platform, they shows their experiences ,their interest and their energy to do work.Basically, after the age of fifty malady disease attack on a people and they becomes weak. So, with the help of this platform we gave the jobs to old age people according to their interest.
In my experience ,people of old age have more experience in their work .So, we must gave the opportunity to them .But the problem is that people of old age have old experiences .Now is the modern society .Technology is more upgrade than past. But I believe that we must gave the chance to the old age people because in past they did very well with less resources. So, I think they do very well with upgrade able technology.
In conclusion, we must gave the chance to those old age people which physically fit and have a lot of interest in their work. According to their experiences, they do very well with high technology.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt—causes and solutions—but the development is limited. The ideas regarding 'malady disease' and 'platforms' are somewhat vague and lack specific, real-world examples to support the arguments. The position is clear, but the explanation of why these causes exist is superficial. To improve, you should expand on your points with concrete evidence, such as mentioning specific industries or government policies, rather than relying on general statements about 'modern society' or 'old age'. The response meets the minimum length requirement, but the depth of analysis needs to be increased to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite mechanical and repetitive (e.g., 'First of all', 'In conclusion'). There are instances where the logical progression between sentences is weak, particularly in the second paragraph where the transition from health issues to job platforms is abrupt. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the flow between ideas feels disjointed. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each sentence logically follows from the previous one to create a smoother, more cohesive argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. You frequently use basic terms like 'old age people' and 'do very well'. There are also some awkward word choices, such as 'malady disease' (which is redundant) and 'upgrade able technology'. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the reliance on simple phrasing restrict the score. To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'ageism', 'professional experience', 'technological proficiency', or 'workforce integration', and ensure you use these terms in the correct context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'government should made', 'we must gave', 'people... becomes'), incorrect verb tenses, and missing articles. The sentence structures are mostly simple, with very few attempts at complex sentences. When complex structures are attempted, they often contain errors. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring that verbs agree with their subjects and that you use the correct tense consistently. Reviewing the rules for modal verbs and pluralization will also significantly improve your accuracy.
