Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 3.0

The response fails to address the prompt effectively. The task asks for the causes of employment difficulties for people over 50 and potential solutions. Instead, the essay focuses on the general struggles of youth employment in Pakistan and makes vague, unsupported claims about 'abroad'. It does not mention the specific demographic (people over 50) or provide relevant arguments or examples related to the question. Furthermore, the response is significantly under the 250-word minimum, which severely limits the development of any ideas. Consequently, the response is largely off-topic and fails to meet the basic requirements of the task.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The essay lacks a clear structure or logical progression. There is no paragraphing, and the flow of ideas is disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is extremely limited and often misused, such as the abrupt transition 'ut, this was not with ouB of country people'. The lack of clear topic sentences or logical links between the introduction of the problem and the subsequent comments makes the text difficult to follow. The writing appears as a single, stream-of-consciousness paragraph, which does not meet the requirements for effective paragraphing or logical organization.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary is very basic and repetitive, often relying on simple words like 'good', 'find', and 'job'. There are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'frastate', 'frastation', 'ouB') and word-choice inaccuracies that impede communication. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas or discuss the topic in any depth. The student struggles to use appropriate terminology related to employment or social issues, relying on informal and imprecise language throughout the response.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The grammar is highly problematic, with frequent errors in sentence structure, verb tense, and subject-verb agreement. Examples include 'their were very difficult to find job', 'youth of pakistani loss their most of time', and 'they were found the job easily'. These errors are pervasive and often make the meaning unclear. There is no evidence of complex sentence structures, and the punctuation is inconsistent. The high frequency of grammatical errors causes significant strain for the reader and prevents clear communication of the intended message.
