Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The essay addresses both parts of the prompt: causes and solutions. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'health issues' is a generalization that lacks specific evidence or nuance. The solutions proposed, such as 'provide them sufficient training programs,' are relevant but remain somewhat superficial. To reach a higher band, you should provide more concrete examples or logical explanations for why these factors exist in the modern labor market. The position is clear, but the depth of analysis is inconsistent, leading to a response that covers the requirements but lacks the depth expected for higher bands.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the argument. You use basic cohesive devices like 'The first and foremost,' 'Secondly,' and 'In conclusion' to signal transitions. However, the flow within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and the use of referencing is occasionally imprecise, such as in the sentence 'if they factories provide them more facilities,' where the pronoun usage is confusing. The progression of ideas is logical, but the connection between sentences could be smoother to improve the overall flow of the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for a higher score. You rely on common, repetitive phrasing such as 'get good jobs' and 'have experience.' There are also some awkward collocations and word choice errors, such as 'well enough experience' (should be 'sufficient experience') and 'essay for older people' (likely meant 'easy'). To improve, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and collocations related to employment and professional development, such as 'professional expertise' or 'technological proficiency.'
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'action are required to solve this issues' (subject-verb agreement and pluralization errors) and 'there skills and experience' (incorrect use of 'there' instead of 'their'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors suggests a lack of control over more complex structures. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and pronoun usage would significantly improve your score.
