Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is widely known that, in some countries people over the age of 50 find it difficult to get a job, despite having experience.
On the one hand, we have several reasons for aged people to not get a job after their fifties. I think the first and foremost aspect is that, nowadays younger generation is being promoted because of their modern thoughts and they know how to use AI for substantial numbers of benefits in their special field.
The second reason, in addition to this could be that, old people can not work for long hours as an active worker. They also are not fighting with their health issues as an old person have to.
On the other hand, I believe some significant measures should be taken for these people survival. The main step government must take on this issue is that they announce pension for individual over age of fifty. In some fields old people should be hired as a younger one always need a wise experienced Person for a piece of advice to do well in upcoming challenges.
The management could introduce new projects or industries that would only dedicated for these experienced citizen to solve the issue of their employments.
To conclude, this I would say that promoting new generation is essential for better future and for country development because only technical thinking can help us to get a better economy. But,instead of giving opportunity to new generation the issue of older people employment can not be ignored. So, government should make positive development to handle this situation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: causes (technological shifts and health concerns) and solutions (pensions and targeted employment). However, the development is somewhat limited. For instance, the suggestion that the government should 'announce pension for individual over age of fifty' is a bit vague and lacks depth regarding the economic feasibility or the specific mechanism. The ideas are relevant, but the argument could be strengthened by providing more concrete examples or a more nuanced discussion of the 'causes' beyond just age-related health or AI proficiency. The position is clear, but the overall development remains at a general level rather than a fully extended one.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one hand', 'The second reason', and 'To conclude', which provide a logical structure. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'in addition to this could be that'. Additionally, some sentences are slightly disjointed, and the flow between ideas could be smoother. The use of referencing is generally clear, though some minor issues with sentence-level cohesion persist, such as the abrupt transition in the final paragraph regarding the importance of the new generation versus the needs of the older workforce.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the student to express their ideas clearly. There are some attempts at using less common vocabulary, such as 'foremost aspect' and 'substantial numbers of benefits', though some word choices are slightly unnatural or imprecise, such as 'aged people' (better: 'older workers') or 'fighting with their health issues'. There are also minor errors in word formation and collocation, such as 'dedicated for these experienced citizen' (should be 'dedicated to these experienced citizens'). While the range is sufficient to convey meaning, it lacks the precision and flexibility required for a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'younger generation is being promoted' (missing article), 'old people can not work' (should be 'older people'), and 'an old person have to' (subject-verb agreement error). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the student attempts complex structures, they are not always error-free. The errors do not impede communication, but they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score in this category.
