Student answer (Band 5.0)
In various regions adults above the age of 50 face many obstacles to aquire good jobs even they have great experience. Below I will explain few causes of this issue and give some ideas to resolve this consequenses.
There are three main causes of this problem. One is older people have low energy. They are not able to work properly. They feel tiredness in a while because of their age and the capacity of their bones decrease in older age. To resolve this problem they have to do excersie regularly so their body becomes stronger and enable to facing difficulties in their work.
Second cause is that, companies requirements every company has different policies they want stronger and active worker so in this case older worker are not suitable for this kinds of jobs therefore companies do not hire adults above the age of 50 even several sectors retire their emplyies after the age of half of century. Solution of this problem is that introducing such jobs that older people do easily in this way they get job and work according to the needs of company.
Third and the last cause that i mention in this paragrapgh is that, shortage of jobs in various countries. Due to this numerous experienced people remain job less and if they get a job by chance they fired in some days or weeks just the reason is their age. To sort out this difficulty best way is introducing jobs in differents fields and advertise their talent and experince then they will get job easily and become to earn their livelihood.
Conclusion is that, every problem has a way to resolve just try and get result so in this case we have to need to work on solving this problem.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing causes such as perceived lower energy, company policies, and job shortages, and proposing measures like regular exercise and creating age-appropriate jobs. However, the ideas are underdeveloped and lack depth or specific real-world examples. For instance, the claim that older workers have 'low energy' and 'decreased capacity of bones' is generalised and lacks supporting evidence. Furthermore, the position tends to wander slightly in the conclusion. While all parts of the prompt are touched upon, the lack of thorough development places this response firmly at Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into an introduction, three body paragraphs, and a brief conclusion, showing a basic attempt at paragraphing. However, progression is weak, and the overall logical flow is hindered by repetitive phrasing, such as starting multiple paragraphs with 'Second cause' or 'Third and the last cause'. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or inaccurately, such as 'Third and the last cause that i mention in this paragrapgh is that', and referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly in the conclusion which lacks substance. These limitations align with the Band 5 descriptor for Coherence and Cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The lexical resource is limited and basic, with numerous spelling errors ('aquire' for acquire, 'consequenses' for consequences, 'excersie' for exercise, 'emplyies' for employees, 'differents' for different) and word-choice inaccuracies ('half of century' for fifty years of age, 'become to earn' for begin to earn). While the writer attempts less common vocabulary, the noticeable errors and restricted range mean the vocabulary is only minimally adequate for the task, fitting a Band 5.0 level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The text displays a very limited range of structures. Simple sentences dominate, and attempts at complex structures are frequently faulty or run-on, such as 'To resolve this problem they have to do excersie regularly so their body becomes stronger and enable to facing difficulties in their work.' Punctuation is often neglected, leading to missing capitalisation and comma splices. Frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('One is older people have') and incorrect prepositions, cause occasional difficulty for the reader, matching the Band 5 descriptors.
