IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In some countries, it can be very difficult for people over the age of 50 to get good jobs, despite their experience.

What do you think are the causes of this problem, and what measures could be taken to solve it?

You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

Contionous wars,drastic climatic anomalies aorund the world ,lower human development and poor governance structure are having their toll on each and every part of the world which resultantly generate economic hardships for the devloped as well as underdeveloped worlds.In most of the underdeveloped countries due to higher inflation ,poor skills and high competitive job markets people over fifty years face findig good jobs,despite thir experience.Apart from the above mentioned factors, job hunters and recruiters search for more energetic, passionate, efficient and people with up-to-date knowledge and skills.

When there is alternate availble for more efficient and productive workers than an experienced and less productive ,it is human pscholoy job hunters prefer the younger talents .Bomabrdent of new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence is difficult for old people to comprehend and use and the the daily basis integeration of these technologies require capable talent ,which youg people provide more easily.In India and the United States most of the new startup cultures and entrepreneurial revolutions is one such example ,where youths are being more than the old people with experience.

Furthermore, no doubt in countries with low fertity rate and high human development such as Japan ,China ,etc, everybody can get job esily without any discrimination of age ,yet still the quality and nature of their job varies and they face problems in finding advanced jobs involving technologies and finances .

Overall,the job hunt experience of old people despite their experience is dependent on the economic conditions of a country,its population,and varying job demands.
