Student answer (Band 6.0)
With growing age challanges for people grow too. Despite being experienced, it can be a challange to find a good job for people over the age of 50. There are definitely some reasons for that. In this essay i'll be bringing these causes to light and providing the practicle solution for these.
Increase in age might increase the experience but it can be still a tough task to seek a good job at older age. Fisrt of all, demand of the market changes with the changing time. Therefore, new skill set is required to meet the market needs. For this reason, institutes hire the young people with new skill sets for the relevant job roles. Another reason is stamina for working hours. With growing age experience can increase but physical capablity of long sittings decreases. As a result of this companies prefer young and energetic people who are enthusiastic and have better physical and mental fitness for working long hours.
Though these problems are a hindrence for people above 50 to find a good job but these must need to be coped. The companies should arrange training sessions and workshops about new technology and skills for the senior workers. In this way they'll be able to learn the new skill sets that are demand of fresh market. Companies should also introduce slot system for senior citizens. These slots should be designed with less working hours and relative proprtion of salary so that elder people can work too and earn for their livings.
Aging brings challanges alongwith it but these chalanges can be solved with planning.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by identifying causes such as changing market demands and physical stamina, and proposing relevant measures like training sessions and reduced working hours. However, some ideas remain under-developed or somewhat generalized. For instance, the discussion on market changes and skill sets is introduced well, but the explanation of how companies react could be further extended with more specific examples. Similarly, the suggestion for a slot system lacks concrete details on implementation. Despite these limitations, the main arguments are relevant and directly address the prompt, showing a clear overall position throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing, dividing the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion logically. Cohesive devices are employed to connect ideas, such as using 'First of all' and 'Another reason' to outline the causes, and 'Though these problems' to transition into the solutions. However, cohesion can sometimes feel mechanical, and referencing is not always entirely clear, such as the pronoun use in 'so that elder people can work too and earn for their livings.' Paragraphing is used sufficiently, but transitions between sentences occasionally lack fluidity, reflecting a standard organisational structure typical of this level.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their ideas about employment and aging. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary items and domain-specific terms, such as 'skill sets', 'stamina', 'enthusiastic', and 'senior citizens'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors that occasionally detract from precision, such as 'challanges', 'practicle', 'Fisrt', 'capablity', 'hindrence', and 'proprtion'. These lexical and spelling inaccuracies do not seriously impede communication, but they highlight the need for a wider and more precise range of vocabulary handled with greater accuracy.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The text demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, with attempts at subordination and relative clauses, such as 'that are demand of fresh market' and 'so that elder people can work too'. There are some errors in grammar and punctuation, including missing articles ('at older age', 'earn for their livings'), preposition issues, and subject-verb agreement or phrasing ('demand of fresh market' instead of 'demand of the current market'). Nevertheless, these grammatical errors rarely impede communication, and the meaning of the sentences remains clear throughout the response, showing a reasonable level of control over basic structures.
