Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both parts of the question by identifying possible causes—reduced productivity, health problems and technological change—and suggesting government support and age-appropriate work. The response also maintains a generally relevant focus on employment for people over 50. However, the causes and solutions are only partly explained. For example, the link between technology and difficulty finding work is asserted but not illustrated, while financial benefits are proposed without clarifying how they would help people obtain good jobs. The suggestion that employers offer less physically demanding tasks is more directly relevant, but its practical value could be developed. A clearer position and specific examples explaining how each measure addresses a stated cause would make the response more complete and persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on measures and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “For instance,” “Additionally,” “Furthermore” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and some links feel mechanical or do not show the relationship between ideas precisely. The sentence “However, Government measure simultaneously with initivatives of private sector provide more opportunities” is an abrupt transition and does not clearly introduce the solutions that follow. The conclusion largely repeats the introduction rather than drawing the causes and measures together. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each proposed measure to a specific cause, and make references such as “this strategy” unambiguous.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “productivity,” “technological advancement,” “financial benefits” and “working condition.” These choices show an effort to discuss causes and solutions beyond very basic language. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices, collocations and spelling errors make the writing less clear or natural. Examples include “better working opportunity,” “drastic innovation in technology,” “age specific task” and “improvise more”; the last does not express the intended idea of improving work prospects or conditions. Spelling errors such as “poplation,” “Goverment” and “neccessary” are also noticeable. Build a bank of accurate employment-related phrases and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentence forms, including cause-and-effect structures such as “This eventually leads to reduction in working effeciency” and a concession beginning “Although it may sounds more delusional.” However, the range of structures is limited, and complex attempts often contain errors that make the intended meaning harder to follow. For example, “The main reason for due to which…” has an incorrect construction, while “policies which provides” has a subject–verb agreement error. In “Although it may sounds… this strategy help,” the verb forms do not agree with their subjects. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “leads to reduction” and the transition into the solutions paragraph. Practise accurate clause patterns and check agreement, articles and punctuation.
