In recent years, it is obeseved that adults that crossed the age of 50 are unable to acquire good employment opportunities in some countries which is becoming a increasing common issue in the modern society. Although this trend can be attributed to several underlying factors, there are some measure that can be used to tackle the situation. This essay will be highlighting the two causes which and exessive competition between young generation that results in unemployment and other one is skills
There are several reasons why its difficult to get a job after 50. One of main reason is the generation gap which is mainly because young people are having more ideas and skills as compared to over 50. In the fast paced life, people are hiring employees that are energetic, have fresh minds and are always to eager to learn and adapt new things. For instance, if a company wants to transform digitally more young people will likely learn quickly as compare to over 50. Another main significant reason is the old mind set, world is changing its dynamtics day by day and the are looking to hire people that can change themselves with new trends which can be difficult for those adults that are over 50.
There can be some considerable measures to tackle the situation and one of that can be government should give pensions to people over 50, it will help people to hire new employees and retire the old ones without worrying them about the life. Another measure can be that, trainning program should be initiated for over age people so that they can upgrade themselves and become a competition.
To conclude this, people over the age of 50 find difficultly in searching for jobs because of their age, and as employer is always searching for employees that are young and can adapt easily and fastly

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both parts of the question by identifying causes and proposing measures, and your position—that older applicants face barriers because employers favour younger workers—is understandable. The discussion of employers seeking people who can adapt to digital change is relevant, as is the suggestion of training for older workers. However, the causes are not consistently clear: the introduction ends with an unfinished point about “skills,” and the claim that young people have “more ideas and skills” is asserted rather than supported. The pension proposal is also insufficiently explained and does not directly show how it would improve access to good jobs. Develop each cause and solution with a clearer explanation and a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, one on solutions, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of the argument. Some links are clear, such as “For instance,” introducing an example and “Another measure” signalling a new proposal. However, progression is weakened by the unfinished final sentence of the introduction and by ideas that are joined without clear explanation. The conclusion repeats the age-related problem but does not summarise the proposed measures. Some linking phrases, including “To conclude this,” sound mechanical. Finish each paragraph’s main point, use references that clearly connect ideas, and make the conclusion draw together both causes and solutions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “generation gap,” “digitally,” “adapt,” “pensions,” and “training program,” which makes the subject clear. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors make parts of the response awkward or less precise. Examples include “a increasing common issue,” “old mind set,” “become a competition,” and “change its dynamtics.” The phrase “good employment opportunities” is understandable but could be made more precise by referring to suitable or secure positions. Aim to use accurate collocations for employment and workplace change, and proofread spelling and word forms. More precise vocabulary would help distinguish employers’ preferences from older workers’ actual abilities.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, for example, “Although this trend can be attributed to several underlying factors…” and the conditional example beginning “if a company wants to transform digitally.” These attempts show some range, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make the reader pause. The introduction contains an incomplete sentence ending “and other one is skills,” while “One of main reason” and “people are hiring employees” show problems with articles, number, and sentence construction. There are also errors in comparative structures, as in “as compare to over 50,” and the final sentence is difficult to follow because its clauses are not clearly connected. Practise complete sentence patterns, subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation, then check each sentence for a clear subject and main verb.
