Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both parts of the question by identifying limited digital skills and a shortage of factories as causes, then proposing technology training and industrial expansion. This gives the response a relevant foundation. However, the ideas are only partly developed: the claim that older people lack technology knowledge is repeated, while the factory shortage is asserted without explaining how it particularly disadvantages people over 50. The statement that “above 90 percent” of older citizens lack relevant information is unsupported, and the opening does not establish a clear, direct position. Explain the causes with specific reasoning and show how each proposed measure would help experienced older applicants secure suitable work; this would make the response more complete and convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions, and a conclusion. The progression from causes to measures is easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the other hand” and “Secondly” help indicate relationships between points. However, some linking is mechanical or inaccurate: “From the one side” does not naturally introduce the first cause, and “On the other hand” suggests a contrast where you are adding another cause. Several sentences also contain unclear references, such as “which might mainly missed by older community,” making the connection between ideas difficult to follow. Use simpler, more precise transitions and make each sentence’s subject and reference explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “digital technology,” “skilled workers,” “cyber security,” “awareness,” and “employment opportunities.” These choices show an effort to discuss the issue beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “jobs,” “people,” and “knowledge,” while frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word forms make some phrases difficult to understand. Examples include “unavailibility,” “consern,” “disciplene,” and “indusutries”; phrases such as “valuable jobs” and “big chances” are also unnatural in this context. Build accuracy alongside range by learning common collocations for recruitment, training, and age discrimination, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You make some attempts to use complex sentences, for example, “If the government take responsibility …, it would increase the chance of employments,” and you use a range of sentence openings. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction frequently make the meaning harder to follow. In the opening, “the government should required to installs” combines incompatible verb forms; later, “which mainly demanded recently” lacks a correctly formed verb phrase. The conclusion also begins with an incomplete construction: “in various range of countries have a big issue.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking subject–verb agreement and verb patterns.
