Student answer (Band 4.0)
There is no denying fact that the phenomena of
age of 50 to get good jobs is ubiquitous a cross the globe due to its importance. Mejorist of folks are in the favour of this number of merits. however some of the people highlight its demerits firt. in my further paragraphs advantages and disadvantages of the same will be discussed.
Intiating with the benefits of the first and formost key benefit is that people can't jobs for over 50 couse they ar very old and wick very much soo that's the reason also i think they should try always hard work but they are not legible all kinds of jobs or works for example they ar not strong to age 22 or 30 years people couse they are young and very sharp mind set also antother benefit which strike the minds of the people can be 22 too 30 they can also doing pain full jobs or hardworking all time. To cite an example they are try to work hard but other then old people work slowly and that's the reason and tired very first.
on its darkerside some drawbacks which makes problematic are first 50 old man or woman work very slow secondly theyr ar also mistake some times for instance they not better day by day.last but not the least.
In conclusion to the above statement, neither its pros can be neglected nor and cons.
It is mixed bag positives and negatives. In my opinion, the statement should not be underestimated.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
The response makes an attempt to discuss the issue, but it does not answer the question’s two required parts clearly. The task asks for causes of older people’s difficulty finding good jobs and measures to address it; instead, the essay repeatedly presents this as a discussion of “benefits” and “drawbacks,” and gives no practical solutions. Some relevant points appear, such as employers viewing older workers as slower or less suited to physically demanding work, but these are unclear and not developed with convincing explanation or examples. The position is also difficult to identify: the introduction refers to “merits” and “demerits,” while the conclusion calls the issue a “mixed bag.” Focus directly on causes and propose specific measures, such as retraining or age-discrimination protections, then explain how they would help.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response into an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, and phrases such as “To cite an example” and “In conclusion” signal transitions. However, the progression is difficult to follow because the paragraphs do not consistently address the task and the central argument shifts between supposed advantages and disadvantages. The first body paragraph contains several ideas joined together without clear relationships, while “last but not the least” is left incomplete. Some linking expressions are also used mechanically rather than to show a precise connection. Plan one paragraph for causes and another for solutions, with each paragraph beginning with a clear main point and developing it in a logical sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The response attempts a range of vocabulary, including “ubiquitous,” “demerits,” “hardworking” and “underestimated,” and it tries to discuss work capacity and age. However, inaccurate word choice, spelling and collocation frequently make the intended meaning unclear. For example, “the phenomena of age of 50 to get good jobs” does not express the issue naturally, and “not legible all kinds of jobs” appears to mean that older people are not suitable for every kind of work. Several words are also misspelled or misformed, including “Mejorist,” “Intiating” and “darkerside.” Build a reliable set of topic-specific phrases—such as “age discrimination,” “relevant experience” and “workplace retraining”—and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
There are attempts to form longer sentences and use clauses, but control is inconsistent, and many sentences contain errors that obscure the relationships between ideas. For example, “people can't jobs for over 50 couse they ar very old” lacks a grammatical verb pattern, while “they can also doing pain full jobs” uses an incorrect verb form. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also unreliable: the opening paragraph has a lower-case “however” after a full stop, and the final body paragraph ends with the fragment “last but not the least.” Practise constructing accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses using patterns such as “because employers believe that…” or “although older workers have experience…”. Check verb forms, articles and sentence completeness during revision.
