Student answer (Band 6.0)
In majority of the countries, it can be very challenging for older individials age above 50 to acquire better jobs, in spite of their expertise.
In my opinion, I believe this is because the new generation are open to challenges and are more creative than people in the past. The young people have greater ideas in terms of business or help the company to progress. Elderly people cannot cope with the fast pace demands of the company requirement.
On the one hand, the youth has turned out to be more innovative comparatively. They are so career oriented and focused that they are able to complete their tasks on time which help the company safe time and utilize it in something new. The higher demands cannot be met by the older people and they cannot tolerate work stress and this can detoriate their health. For instance, I remember one of the old lady who was recruited by our company due to her vast experience, but at the same time she was not ready to take the stress, meet the deadlines and at the same time she couldn't rush to the meeting rooms when called immediately. Therefore, the whole scenerio turned out to be very over whelming for her and she had no choice instead of offering her resignation. Further, if the elderly people are meant to retire their is a logical reason behind it.
On the other hand, keeping in mind about the experiences these elder individuals have cannot be neglected. Adding more to it, the government should make policies regarding their recruitment and make sure that they are facilitated. Moreover, they should have less working hours and fewer tasks to complete. As a result, they will not be discouraged to work and the companies can take full benefits from their experiences related work and as well as similar tasks. To site and example, my friend once mentioned that being a CEO of the company he hired an old aged man for a project that was very significant for the company and experienced individuals were essential. Additionally, he later admitted that this idea of recruitment an old age man turned out to be great, completion of the project was timely and at the same time succuessful ofcourse.
In a nutshell, I firmly suggest knowing about the experiences they have and the amount of benefits they can bring to campany is extra ordinary but trying to know that working full-time for these people is not possible. The government should take necessary measure which can result to be fruitful for the company and also it will not affect their health. Taking advantage of their experience can do wonders and is higher commendable.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both parts of the question and maintain a clear view: you identify workplace demands and perceived differences between younger and older employees as causes, then propose government policies and adjusted hours or workloads. The examples from your company and your friend’s project help make the discussion relevant. This meets the task well overall, but some ideas are more fully explained than others. In particular, the claim that younger people are “more creative” is broad and would benefit from a clearer explanation or evidence; the example of one older employee also risks making a general point from an individual case. Develop the causes and show more precisely how each proposed measure would help older workers secure suitable jobs.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, discussion of causes, proposed measures, and a conclusion. Paragraphing generally helps the reader follow the shift from workplace challenges to the value of experience and possible support. You also use linking expressions such as “For instance,” “Moreover,” and “As a result.” However, some transitions are mechanical or do not clearly express the relationship between ideas: “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” suggest a balanced contrast, but the first body paragraph mainly develops causes and the second mainly gives solutions. Some references, such as “this idea” and “these elder individuals,” could be more precise. Group each paragraph around one clear function and use links that accurately signal the connection.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range for the topic, including relevant terms such as “expertise,” “career oriented,” “deadlines,” “recruitment,” and “working hours.” Attempts at more formal vocabulary help convey the argument, and the meaning is generally clear. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “safe time” for saving time, “deteriorate their health” in this context, and “higher commendable.” There are also spelling errors such as “individials,” “detoriate,” and “succuessful,” which reduce precision. Aim for natural combinations and check spelling carefully; for example, use “meet demanding deadlines” and “make full use of their experience.” This would make the vocabulary more controlled and precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “although” or “because”-type relationships and longer sentences that explain examples. The main ideas remain understandable, but grammatical control is uneven, with errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction. For example, “the new generation are” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “which help the company” should agree with the preceding singular idea. In “if the elderly people are meant to retire their is a logical reason,” the conditional structure and punctuation are not controlled. Some sentences also become difficult to follow because several clauses are joined together. Review agreement and article use, and divide long sentences into clearer units while retaining a range of structures.
