Student answer (Band 4.0)
In majority countries,it can be very difficult for people over the age of 50 to get good jobs, despite their experience. However their maybe this over age reason but there are also reasons of solving the problems.
The some of countries are in the favour of young people because they are energetic as compare to the over 50 one.The over age people are very old as they can't work good or the can not pick up heavy tthings. The over age can't get job easier because they are old and therefore no one can accept it. As some countries are aceepting the people for the jobs are accepting there body and through their physical features but how ever the old people are very hard to accept it. Over age people can't manage theirselves so how would they do other jobs because they dont have much power in their body as well in their heart.
There are also reason of getting jobs for over age people. As in china you can see that most of the people are doning there work by own. Moreover you can see that the old people in china are busy in farming. They have the duty of cuttinmg and managing the garden so it seems that old people can do jobs. However you can see in foreign countries most of the over the age people are getting the guard jobs as they can't do heavy or stricks jobs.
In counclusion i am agree with giving jobs to the old people because they are also having heart so the wiill get disappiont therefore they should also get jobs.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You identify a relevant cause: employers may prefer younger applicants because they seem more energetic or physically capable. You also give examples of older people farming in China and working as guards. However, the task asks for both causes and measures, and the response does not clearly explain practical measures to solve the problem. The conclusion says older people should receive jobs, but does not explain how employers or governments could make this happen. Several claims, such as older people being unable to manage themselves, are unclear or unsupported, so the discussion responds only minimally to the full task. Develop specific solutions—for example, anti-age-discrimination rules, retraining, or flexible roles—and explain how they would help.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5
There is an attempt to organise the response into an opening, discussion paragraphs and a conclusion, and linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “However” show an effort to connect points. However, the progression is difficult to follow: the second paragraph moves between employers’ preferences, physical ability and acceptance without a clear sequence, while the next paragraph shifts to examples rather than presenting solutions. Some connections are unclear, including “There are also reason of getting jobs,” which does not clearly signal the paragraph’s purpose. The conclusion repeats a general opinion rather than drawing together the discussion. Give each paragraph one clear function and use topic sentences to guide the reader.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The response uses basic vocabulary relevant to employment, including “energetic,” “physical features,” “farming” and “guard jobs,” so the main topic is generally recognisable. However, vocabulary is repetitive and often imprecise, which sometimes strains understanding. Phrases such as “over age,” “do other jobs,” and “stricks jobs” do not express the intended ideas clearly; spelling errors such as “aceepting,” “cuttinmg” and “disappiont” also reduce clarity. Build a more accurate range for discussing age and employment, and check spelling and collocations. For instance, use “older applicants,” “physically demanding work,” and “age discrimination” where appropriate, rather than repeating “old people” or “over age.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt some longer sentences and subordinate clauses, for example, “The some of countries are in the favour of young people because they are energetic,” and “However you can see in foreign countries…”. These attempts show some variety, but control is inconsistent and errors frequently make relationships between ideas hard to understand. Examples include “In majority countries,it can be,” “they can't work good or the can not,” and “i am agree,” which show problems with articles, sentence construction, adverbs and verb patterns. Punctuation is also unreliable, with missing spaces after commas and full stops. Practise accurate simple sentence patterns first, then combine ideas using “because,” “although” and “so” while checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms.
