Student answer (Band 5.5)
Its widely accepted in many countries that when people reach above a certain age level like 50, then it become very difficult to get an suitable job, despite of their expertise and experience level. Some people also strongly believe in this, thats is one of the reason they start investing money in their early stage of life for retirement plans. But I believe its not much difficult to find a suitable job at the age of 50 or above. Here are few of the reasons;
If anyone is well educated and doing a professional white-collar job, for these people its much more easy to get job at the age of 50, The reason is that, when they are working professional and doing an corporate job, good personal and inter personal skills like management, strategies and operations were developed. For Example if I started my career as marketing executive, then with time and skill, I will prompted to the upper positions. At the end when I was 50, my skills set got widen, i will be become eligible for oversight, managing teams, derive operations and build strategies.
On the other hand, I am not totally disagree with question. In this case if anyone is doing an blue collar job at factory, construction site, workshops and outdoor, which required manual labour and hand-on physical work. The capability of doing manual work and labour is decreased with age and time, people are unable to perform required work. far these scenarios I am totally agree that its difficult to find job at 50 because their experience is not helping much.
All in one, Its totally depends on the each person life experiences, capabilities and skill set they have.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You discuss reasons why age can affect employment, especially the physical demands of blue-collar work, and you give a contrasting example of experienced professionals moving into management. However, the response does not fully answer both parts of the question: it explains possible causes but offers no measures to address the problem. Your opening also says that finding a suitable job after 50 is “not much difficult,” while the task presents this as a serious problem; the position therefore remains unclear. The examples are relevant, but the hypothetical marketing-career example is not developed into evidence, and the conclusion mainly repeats that outcomes depend on individual skills. Address the causes and propose practical solutions, such as retraining or age-inclusive hiring.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting situations, and a brief conclusion. The contrast signalled by “On the other hand” helps readers follow the shift from professional work to manual labour. However, progression is limited because the paragraphs do not build toward a complete answer, particularly as there is no paragraph on solutions. Some linking phrases are awkward or unclear, including “Here are few of the reasons” and “All in one,” and the final paragraph is too brief to draw the discussion together. Improve cohesion by giving each paragraph a clear purpose, using accurate transitions, and linking the examples explicitly to the main argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “white-collar job,” “blue collar job,” “manual labour,” “oversight,” and “strategies.” These terms help distinguish between types of work and show an attempt to discuss employment beyond basic vocabulary. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear: “age level,” “expertise and experience level,” and “skills set got widen” are not natural expressions. There are also spelling and form errors such as “thats,” “inter personal,” and “prompted.” Aim for more precise, natural phrases and check spelling and word forms; for example, describe skills as “developed” and a worker as “promoted.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional structures such as “If anyone is well educated…” and a relative clause describing work “which required manual labour.” This shows some willingness to vary sentence forms. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently in agreement, articles, tense, and sentence boundaries. Examples include “it become,” “an suitable job,” “which required,” and “I will be become eligible.” Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in the comma splice after “50” and the lower-case “far these scenarios.” These errors can make parts of the argument difficult to follow. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and article use, and edit each sentence for one clear main clause.
