The given bar charts and line graph demonstrate the outcome of a survey conducted for a time frame of 3 year to find out citizens perspective regarding their city.

Overall, It seprated into two clear graph that shows what are the beneficial and worst things about lifestyle in London, whereas line graph illustrates three vital problems in London.

Firstly, The best things about London are categorised in six majors for which time period of three years. In which range of shops are accounted for over 40%, that was highest category to reach in 1st year. whereas in the category of worst things traffic congestion and crime issue was at top and cost of living.

Therefore the pattern of 2nd year remained constant in benefits like job opportunities, mixture of people and museums art galleries with issues like crime and cost of living lower than 40%.

On the other hand, the three major issues litter, air quality and noise recorded for three years. In which the problem of litter hiked exactly in 2nd year, meanwhile remaining two of them remained constant throught the period of 3 years at 70% and 60% respectively.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response covers the main features of the charts, but the presentation of data is often unclear or inaccurate. For instance, you mention 'range of shops' accounted for over 40% in the first year, but the data labels are difficult to follow. The description of the line graph is also confusing; you state that two items remained constant at 70% and 60%, but the graph shows three distinct lines with different trends. The report lacks a clear overview of the key trends, and some data points are misidentified, which prevents a fully developed response. To improve, focus on accurately reporting the specific percentages and trends shown in the visuals rather than generalising.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the logical progression within paragraphs is weak. Transitions like 'In which' and 'Meanwhile' are used incorrectly, leading to disjointed sentences. The referencing is also problematic; for example, 'In which range of shops are accounted for' is grammatically awkward and makes the flow difficult to follow. While there is an attempt to use cohesive devices, they are often mechanical or misused, which hinders the overall coherence of the report. Better use of linking words and clearer sentence structure would improve the flow significantly.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'citizens perspective regarding their city' and 'major issues litter'. You rely on basic descriptors and struggle with collocations, such as 'remained constant throught the period'. There are also spelling errors like 'seprated' and 'throught'. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of sophisticated vocabulary and the presence of errors in word choice limit the score. Using more precise terminology related to data description would elevate the quality of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('traffic congestion and crime issue was at top'), incorrect article usage, and punctuation errors. The sentence structure is often fragmented, particularly in the third paragraph where a sentence begins with 'was at top'. These errors are noticeable and occasionally cause the reader to pause, although they do not completely impede communication. To reach a higher band, you need to focus on sentence construction, ensuring that subjects and verbs agree and that complex sentences are punctuated correctly.
