The bar charts and line graph below show the results of a survey conducted over a three-year period to discover what people who live in London think of the city.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.
What are the best things about living in London?
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The bar charts and line graph illustrates the finding of survey taken amongs the residents of London over a three-year course regarding their thoughts on living in the city.
Overall, range of shops regarded as the best thing about living in london for all three years where as foor the worst- cost of living was the popular option in year 1 and 3, where as in year 2 traffic congestion got the maximum vote. Furthermore, most people said yes to litter issue in all three years while least considered noise as major problem.
In the year 1, range of shops was considered as the finest things about staying in London with 45% followed by job opportunity(37%), mixture of people(36%), museums & art galleries(30%), night life and transport(23%) . Likewise for year 2, 42, 35, 36,32,25 and 17% and for year 3, 43,35,34,34,37 and 25% for range of shops, job opportunity, mixture of people, museums & art galleries, night life and transport was seen respectivelly.
Moreover, forworst things, the cost of living was chosen by 57% in year 1, 49% in 2 and 50% in 3, in addition, for traffic congustion as 55% in both year 1 and 2 while 495 in year 3. Similarly, 55% said crime was the awful in year 1, 38 and 40% in year 2 and 3 where as 35% said cost of housinf was terrible in year1 and 2 with 37% saying year 3. Although transport was chosed lesser it still hold more than 20% whith 35, 27 and 27 in year 1,2,3 respectivelly.
