The bar charts and line graph below show the results of a survey conducted over a three-year period to discover what people who live in London think of the city.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.
What are the best things about living in London?
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The two bar charts and 1 line graph demonstrates the survey outcome, conducted for the purpose to discover what are the thoughts of people living in the London city over a three year period.
In the bar chart 1, against the question what are the best things to live in London majority of the population say that its the varity of shops that's the best about London for 3 years. Then approximatly 35 percent of the people answer that job opportunities, mixture of people and museums and art galleries are second most interesting thing about London for three years with little fall for the year 1 for museums and art galleries. Then night life and transport is the least best things in london with the percentage close to 20.
In the bar chart 2 people nominate cost of city, traffc congestion and crime the worst things for year 1 which slightly decline for year 2 and 3 for cost of living and year 3 traffic conhestion. The cost of housing and transport gets the less percentage between 30 and 35%.
The line graph exhibit three types of data, the first is about litter which initially was 70% then grows a littles for year 2 and drops down for year three. While the air quality and noise trends demonstrate a regular but slight decline in three years.
