Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You cover the three visuals and give a clear overview: shops lead among positive features, litter is the strongest concern, and cost and congestion are prominent drawbacks. Several comparisons are supported with figures, such as shops at about 45% initially and 43% in Year 3, and litter reaching 75% before falling. However, some details are incomplete or imprecise. The cost of living was not the highest negative in Year 1: crime was about 56%, just below cost of living at 57%, and congestion was also close at 55.5%. You omit crime’s substantial fall and partial recovery, and do not give figures for air quality or noise. Develop these less-covered trends and make comparisons more exact.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The report has a recognisable structure, moving from an overview to positive features, negative features and then the line graph. Paragraphing helps the reader follow the different visuals, and transitions such as “Regarding” and “Finally” signal changes in focus. Overall progression is clear, but some linking is mechanical or awkward: “In Addition” and “In contraste” interrupt the flow, while “In contrast” introduces transport without clearly identifying the comparison. Some sentences also combine several trends, making the relationships less clear. Use more precise links to show comparisons—for example, contrast the stable low transport figure with the rise in nightlife—and ensure each paragraph develops its main point in a logical sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of topic vocabulary, including “positive and negative aspects,” “gradual increase,” “fluctuating,” and “consistently the most critical problem.” These choices generally make the report’s meaning clear. However, several word-choice and collocation problems reduce precision: “distinct matter” is unclear, “sever drawbacks” is not idiomatic, and “highest component” does not naturally describe a survey response. There are also spelling errors such as “aronud,” “finar,” and “contraste,” alongside inconsistent capitalization in “In Addition.” Aim for standard chart-report phrasing and check spelling carefully; accurate, natural expressions will make your comparisons sound more controlled and academic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “while,” “whereas,” and “before,” and most of the intended meaning remains understandable. Some grammatical errors recur, particularly subject–verb agreement and sentence construction. For example, “the range of shops were” should be “the range of shops was,” and “the range of shops were represented” has an incorrect verb pattern. The opening phrase “The given both bar charts and line graph” is also structurally faulty; use “The two bar charts and the line graph show…”. Articles, plurals and tense patterns need attention in phrases such as “in first year” and “all three year.” Review agreement and article use, then proofread complex sentences to ensure each clause is complete and correctly connected.
