Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, continue their eduction after the school, and range of courses also available at the colleges is becoming increasingly common. In my opinion, this is positive development.
One reason why this is positive is that people continue their eduction after the school. They continusoly touch with the subject , and the education system. For example people who want to become a teacher. they continuing their education because they teach to students, so they prepare the lecture for students. Therefore, if they quit from the eduction they can not deliver the lecture to students. Most of people continuing their education after school because when we study the subject that time we learn different thing, but withing the time new ideas come which increased the knowledge.
Another reason is that, according to time courses also change. university, and colleges has also increased the courses, because people learn new things and gain more new knowledge. For instance, people who have the old knowledge like 19th century. Furthermore, they have totally different approach compared with new and young generation. in the past new concept of Ai, but now this is time of the Ai. As result, after eduction learn new skills and touch with eduction grow you in your career and future life. if you touch with eduction, then you learn new things which easily compate with other people, and you can achieve everything in your life, because eduction makes you wisdom and give you respect in society.
In conclusion, i believe this is positive development, because its benefits are more significant.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that the trend is positive. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding 'continuous learning' and 'changing courses' are repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the example of teachers is somewhat confusingly explained, and the mention of '19th century' knowledge is unclear. The essay would benefit from more specific, well-reasoned examples to support the main points. While the position is clear, the supporting arguments are not fully developed, which limits the score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is often hindered by unclear phrasing and awkward transitions. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'For example', 'Furthermore', 'In conclusion'), they are sometimes applied mechanically or incorrectly. The referencing is occasionally ambiguous, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of ideas. The internal structure of the paragraphs lacks cohesion, as sentences often feel disconnected from one another, which impacts the overall readability of the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. There are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'eduction' instead of 'education', 'continusoly' for 'continuously', and 'compate' for 'compete'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas precisely. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the frequent errors and the lack of variety in word choice prevent the response from reaching a higher band. The student relies on basic vocabulary and struggles with accurate collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'university, and colleges has also increased'), missing articles, and incorrect sentence structures. Complex sentence attempts are often faulty, leading to confusion. For example, 'if you touch with eduction, then you learn new things which easily compate with other people' is grammatically weak. Simple sentences are used, but even these often contain errors. The control of grammar is inconsistent, and the errors frequently impede the clarity of the message.
