Student answer (Band 5.0)
Over many years nowadays there is big change related to literacy. Now a day you will see people taking admission in many universities and colleges in many different subjects because now there is variety of options. And sometimes we couldn't say its bad because it could be good if we done this with proper loyalty dignity and effortly.
According to me it's positive effect on our youth and young generation. When they will see their adult taking admissions in their perspective subjects they will learn the importance of education level in their life .and options if subjects will enhance their abilities and skills. So their future could be very bright as a shine. They can earn money and complete their wishes. And their future may be not depend on any other member
Additionally at the same time there is negative effect aswell not because they are having admission but may be it bring effect on their family lifestyle. When they will not able to give quality time to their family and their availability will be limited then problem came. For example if I give you my example when I was doing my bachelor after studies I got tired easily and raised my voice in my family because of extra time in my studies.
Conclusion is that there is positive and negative development in our life gradually when you envolve in such activities. There is hurdles when you are taking any steps for your future.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both positive and negative aspects of increasing higher education opportunities, taking a balanced view. A clear position is stated: 'According to me it's positive effect on our youth... Additionally at the same time there is negative effect'. However, the ideas remain quite basic, limited, and under-developed, relying on generic statements such as 'complete their wishes' and personal anecdotes that lack broader analytical extension. Furthermore, the length requirement has not been met, as the response contains only 244 words against the mandatory 250-word minimum, which impacts task completion and requires a downward adjustment in this criterion. These combined factors align closely with the Band 5 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays some general organisation through paragraphing, separating the introduction, positive points, negative points, and a brief conclusion. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression and smooth transitions between ideas. Cohesive devices are minimal, repetitive, or inaccurate, such as 'And sometimes we couldn't say its bad' and 'Additionally at the same time'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and logical flow is frequently disrupted by abrupt shifts in topic sentences. While the general structure can be followed, the mechanical nature of the links and weak paragraph cohesion place this response firmly within Band 5.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is very basic and repetitive, featuring frequent inappropriate word choices and non-standard collocations (e.g., 'taking admission' instead of 'enrolling', 'effortly' instead of 'effortfully' or 'with effort', and 'bright as a shine'). The range is limited and minimally adequate for conveying simple meanings, but noticeable errors in word formation and phrasing cause some difficulty for the reader. There are few attempts at less common lexical items, and those that are attempted are generally inaccurate. These characteristics reflect the standard descriptors for Band 4.5 to 5.0, leaning toward a solid Band 5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The text contains a very limited range of grammatical structures, with frequent errors in basic sentence construction, tense consistency, and subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'when you envolve in such activities', 'there is hurdles', and 'When they will not able to give quality time'). Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, leading to awkward phrasing that can obscure meaning. While the reader can generally decipher the intended message, errors are dense throughout the response, preventing the achievement of a Band 6. The frequency and nature of these grammatical inaccuracies align with Band 4.
