Student answer (Band 5.0)
We have seen that the number of people continuing their studies has increased also universities introduced sevral courses after school now a days. I think it is a positive progress that lead us toward development.
Fistly, in today world a lot of students enrolled themselves in college and university this is because they all want a scuccessful careere and they think that it is only possible if they had a good degree. Morever, everyone want to be see itself as a noble , degnified and honourable person in society.Furthermore , this generation commonly believed if they had not a good degree they could not achieve their goals. On the other hand, some universities also introducing new courses for the students this is because they want to give new oppourtunities for their pupils. this is also because they want to secure student life. In now a days we are seeing , everyone want to be a doctor , engineer or pharmacist but due to high merit they cannot achieve their goals.
for example, in pakistan parents force their child to become a doctor but this is not possible for everyone. Therefore, pakistani univerisities introdued several courses for medical students like depharmacy and DPT.
I strongly beleive that if students continue their studies after school time it is a positive development for their own lifestyle and also for their country as well.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that the increase in further education and course variety is a positive development. However, the ideas are somewhat limited and under-developed, relying on repetitive points about careers and social status without deep elaboration. Furthermore, the response suffers from a significant drawback noted in the length check: it contains only 230 words, falling short of the mandatory 250-word minimum. Because of this under-length penalty and the under-developed extension of ideas, the response aligns best with Band 5.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The text is organized into paragraphs, and the writer attempts to signal logical transitions using markers such as 'Fistly', 'Morever', and 'Furthermore'. However, the overall organisation feels mechanical and basic. Paragraphing is poorly handled, with the main body section crammed into a single block of text that lacks clear internal progression. Referencing and cohesive devices are frequently faulty or inadequate. For instance, 'this is because' is repeated excessively without adding logical clarity. These issues place the response firmly at Band 5.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently revolving around words like 'study', 'course', 'degree', and 'goal'. There are numerous spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'sevral' for several, 'scuccessful careere' for successful career, 'degnified' for dignified, and 'oppourtunities' for opportunities. Less common vocabulary items are rarely attempted successfully, and when attempted, inaccuracies are prominent ('positive progress that lead us toward development'). The lexical range is minimally adequate for the task, meeting the criteria for Band 5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writing displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences or poorly joined clauses. There are frequent grammatical and punctuation errors throughout the text, including run-on sentences and comma splices ('In now a days we are seeing , everyone want to be a doctor...'). Subject-verb agreement errors are common, such as 'universities introduced' and 'everyone want'. Errors in tense consistency and article usage further restrict the score. Because errors are frequent and occasionally cause difficulty for the reader, a Band 5 is warranted.
