Student answer (Band 5.0)
In several countries the number of people continuing their education after school has increased which is defiently positive development, while the rang of courses in the universities and colleges has also increased which has both positive and development. h The positive development of continuing education by number of people after school has decrease the rate of illetracy among adults and childrens.Children who stopped getting education after school has directly increased the rate of illetracy which indriectlt affect the development of country. For example a teenager who is not going to continue his education will directly strt any working which leads to child labour .Children has growing without learning any curiculum books through which he or she will find better job opportunities in future. Therefore having better education after school will give people numerous opportunities of job employment. b The courses avilable at universities and school has both positive and negative affects .Many short courses avilabel at school universities just degrade students from getting further education like PHD,Mphil which may provide better future.Although it has increased the skills and knowledege of people through which their CV looks more effective. For example a student having language learning certificate make it easy for going to abroad. Or a person having skillworker certifcate increases the chances of jobs in other countries. In conclusion the number of people going to school has definetly a positve development ,However the courses avilable at schools or universities must have a rule to consider education complsary while learning other courses.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response attempts to address both aspects of the prompt: the increase in people continuing education and the rise in available courses. However, the position is somewhat unclear at times, particularly regarding whether the developments are positive or negative. For instance, the second body paragraph discusses the positive aspects of higher education, while the third paragraph claims that available courses have both positive and negative effects, noting that short courses might 'degrade students from getting further education'. Ideas are presented but remain under-developed and lack sufficient supporting evidence. Furthermore, a strict word count check reveals the text contains 247 words, failing to meet the minimum requirement of 250 words. Consequently, a penalty has been applied under Task Achievement, resulting in a band score of 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, and an overall organizational structure is visible with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, progression is frequently disrupted by awkward phrasing, strange spacing anomalies within the text, and weak cohesive ties. For example, transitions between sentences often rely on repetitive or oversimplified connecting words, and referencing is occasionally unclear (e.g., 'through which he or she...'). Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal logical flow of arguments is hindered by disjointed sentences and ideas that jump abruptly between topics. Overall, the organizational framework aligns best with the Band 5 descriptors, as cohesion is often faulty and the lack of smooth progression affects the readability of the text.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, representing a limited range that is minimally adequate for the task. There are numerous noticeable spelling and word-choice errors throughout the essay, such as 'defiently' instead of definitely, 'rang' instead of range, 'illetracy' instead of illiteracy, 'indriectlt' instead of indirectly, 'strt' instead of start, 'curiculum' instead of curriculum, 'avilabel' instead of available, 'knowledege' instead of knowledge, and 'complsary' instead of compulsory. These frequent lexical and orthographic errors cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the response from achieving a higher band. While the writer attempts some less common terms like 'employment' and 'certificate', the pervasive spelling inaccuracies limit the score to a 4.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, though attempts at complex structures are frequently marred by grammar and punctuation errors. Examples of faulty structures include 'the number of people continuing their education after school has increased which is defiently positive development' and 'Children has growing without learning'. There are persistent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Children has growing', 'The courses avilable... has'), article usage, and prepositions. While the meaning can generally be parsed with effort, the high frequency of grammatical mistakes means that error-free sentences are relatively rare, placing the grammar performance firmly within the Band 5 category.
