Student answer (Band 4.5)

Nowadays, education is becoming more significant for chidren, in nuemrous countries have inhance the education cource after finising school lessens. However, majority of universities and colleges even develop modren courses. In my further paragraphs, positives and negatives will be the same discussed.

beginning with the first and foremost key benefit is that children learn other lessens, other they get more knowledge about world. Because teacheres teach extracuriculam rather than school lessen. For example, extra activities, games, dance, music ect. Furthermore, in present era devoloping advance technology so teachers display new shows about globe. Like, about gelexy, animals, plants, rivers, mountains, and forests as well.Another point is that todays in the universities and colleges organige extra activities like sports they teach big students to sports game.

On the other hand, if schools and other universities increase school time after finising school time therefore they become more bore and frastrated. Because children want refresh at home after living school, as well as they desire to watching TV later come back at home and want to become quiet insted of other lessons or extra activities.

In conclusion, to the above statement, it is a mixed bag of positives and negatives. Hence, the statement should not be underestimated. I think definitely being in the school extra activities but that to be on free days insted of weekdays.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

The response responds to the task only minimally, and it is important to note that the length requirement is not met, as the essay contains 223 words instead of the minimum 250 words. The student attempts to discuss whether the increase in post-school education and courses is a positive or negative development, but the ideas are severely limited and under-developed. For instance, the opening mentions that education is becoming more significant, but the position remains unclear and tangled with surface-level points. The body paragraphs touch upon extracurricular activities and children getting bored, but these arguments lack proper support and extension, resulting in a tangential response that only touches upon the prompt's themes.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

There is some basic organisation with attempts at paragraphing, but the response lacks a clear overall progression. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often inadequate or inaccurate, such as starting paragraphs with awkward transitional phrases like 'beginning with the first and foremost key benefit' and 'In conclusion, to the above statement'. Referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult to follow the logical development of ideas throughout the essay. While the writer attempts to signal the structure of the essay in the introduction, the execution of cohesive links between sentences remains mechanical and faulty.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, and numerous spelling and word-choice errors significantly strain the reader. Examples of spelling and lexical inaccuracies include 'chidren', 'nuemrous', 'inhance', 'cource', 'finising', 'lessens', 'modren', 'extracuriculam', 'devoloping', 'advance', 'gelexy', 'organige', 'bore', 'frastrated', and 'insted'. The range is limited and minimally adequate for communication, but these frequent errors in spelling, word form, and collocation prevent the response from achieving a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, and errors are frequent throughout the text, occasionally distorting meaning. The writer relies heavily on simple sentence forms, and attempts at more complex structures are faulty, such as in the sentence 'Nowadays, education is becoming more significant for chidren, in nuemrous countries have inhance the education cource after finising school lessens.' There are persistent errors in subject-verb agreement, verb forms, plurals, and prepositions within grammatical patterns. While basic communication is sometimes achieved, the high density of grammatical errors impacts the overall readability.
