Student answer (Band 5.5)

At universities and colleges the limit of available courses have incremented, and currently, after school gathering knowledge has uprised by learners, in many states. Even universities and colleges are supporting students by expanding the number of courses, I largely believe this is a positive development because gaining knowledge can drive people towards innovations and contributing in the society a lot more.

Learners are the key to innovation of any field, therefore, the encouragement of gathering knowledge should be appreciated. The way institutions are supporting young people to gain education by increasing courses are really commendable. When people will feel interest into solve something difficult, participate in research world that can helps a lot in the world where the advancements of technologies are soaring. To illustrate, people are keen towards gaining knowledge instead of forcing can contribute a lot more in innovation than the people who are less keen. Idea generation for something which you are interest is lot more easier than the people who are just doing it for the work completion purpose. If someone is interested in knowledge gathering then failure also contribute in try harder mode, however in opposite, less keen person will lose interested in this situation.

The educated societies are far more content than the society where knowledge are not priority. When people contribute their gained knowledge in their own society it becomes the most conquering point for that society. For instance, the developed countries spend a lot in research and higher education, and that's why they have the most advanced technology in daily comfort live as well as in medical field. Additionally, the developed society can rule on other less developed societies and will always win in terms of wit.

To conclude, higher education perceivers are uprising widely and the courses are also enhancing from universities and colleges side which are greatly appciated steps, learners are needed for society and innovations

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the task, presenting a clear position that the expansion of higher education is a positive development. Relevant ideas are introduced, such as the relationship between higher education, innovation, and societal advancement, which corresponds to the requirements for this level. However, some ideas are under-developed or lack sufficient clarity. For instance, the argument regarding developed countries ruling over less developed societies is somewhat underdeveloped and wanders slightly from the central focus. To reach a higher level, you need to fully extend and support all your main points with more precise explanations and concrete examples rather than relying on general assertions.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear stance stated in the introduction and a concluding summary. Paragraphing is used to group related ideas, with each body paragraph focusing on a distinct aspect of the topic. However, progression is sometimes hindered by faulty or mechanical cohesion. Referencing and cohesive ties are at times inaccurate or unclear, such as in sentences beginning abruptly or using repetitive transitional patterns. For example, phrases like "however in opposite, less keen person" show mechanical handling of cohesive devices. To improve, ensure that your sentences flow logically into one another and that cohesive devices are used more naturally to connect ideas smoothly.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

Your vocabulary range is adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your main ideas about education and innovation. You make various attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as "incremented," "uprised," and "conquering point." However, there are noticeable inaccuracies in word choice, collocation, and word formation throughout the text. Words like "incremented" and "uprised" are used incorrectly in this context, and there are occasional spelling and lexical slips that reflect a limited and developing control of lexical features. To achieve a higher score, you should focus on using vocabulary more accurately and learning standard collocations associated with academic topics.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting multi-clause structures to express your thoughts. However, there is a lack of control over grammatical structures, resulting in frequent errors in grammar, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions. Examples such as "the limit of available courses have incremented" and "interest into solve something difficult" illustrate issues with agreement and infinitive/gerund patterns. While these errors rarely completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to cause difficulty for the reader at times. To progress, work on mastering basic agreement rules, article usage, and the accurate construction of complex clauses.
