Student answer (Band 5.5)
Literacy rate has been increased over the years, as in many countries, the number of students continuing their education after school has increased, due to which the range of courses available at universities and colleges has also increased. I agree with this statement positively, as its very thoughful to provide a range of subjects at universities to students but it is also difficult to provide relevant jobs in those particular fields.
Back in the days both practical and academic skills were attained by most of the males and both could find jobs in their relevant fields, some initiated busiiness after schools without attaining a particular degree, also the male members were sole earner of the family but now the circumstances have changed. We have introduced the importance of education to Girls and boys equally.
Nowadays, the subjects in colleges and universities are incresed with the demands of the jobs, and we are introduced to the technological world where every students wants to acheive something different than already designed conventional paths for example doctors and engineering. Its is a positive development that now students can have a variety of subjects to choose from and they can acquire particular knowledge in the field they choose to study.
Nevertheless, there will be some consequences to it too as we wont be able to find all releavnt oppurtunuties to everyone that fit all student career choices in to the subjects and there will be alot of competetion too in every field.
In conclusion, range or variety of subjects is a positive develpoment but there can be consequences of unempolyoment also which can be reduced y goverment taking proper actions and making clear policies about career guidance.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You give a clear positive view, while acknowledging a drawback: wider course choice can help students pursue different careers, but suitable jobs may not exist for everyone. This addresses both the development and its consequences. The point about equal educational opportunities for girls and boys adds relevant context, and the conclusion returns to your position and proposes career guidance and government policies. However, some ideas are less fully explained than others. The historical comparison about men’s roles and family earnings is not clearly connected to the growth in courses, and the risk of unemployment is asserted without an example or explanation of how course expansion causes it. Develop these links and support your main claims with a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, supporting paragraphs, a paragraph on drawbacks, and a conclusion. The contrast signalled by “Nevertheless” helps show that you are considering both sides, and the final paragraph restates your view. However, progression between ideas is not always clear. The discussion of men as former sole earners and the introduction of equal education for girls and boys feel disconnected from the central argument. Some links, such as “due to which,” make the relationship between increased participation and course variety sound mechanical rather than clearly reasoned. Improve paragraph focus by giving each paragraph one main point, then explain how it supports your position. Use clearer references and transitions to connect examples to the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “technological world,” “career choices,” “conventional paths,” and “career guidance.” These expressions help communicate your main ideas, but the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors reduce precision. For example, “provide relevant jobs” would be more naturally expressed as “create sufficient employment opportunities,” while “subjects … are increased” should be “the range of subjects has expanded.” Misspellings such as “acheive,” “oppurtunuties,” and “unempolyoment” are noticeable. Some phrases, including “agree with this statement positively,” are awkward. Build a more accurate set of topic-specific collocations and proofread spelling and word forms so your meaning is consistently clear.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a cause-and-effect opening and a contrast introduced by “Nevertheless.” The overall meaning is generally understandable, but control is uneven, particularly in longer sentences. For instance, the opening combines several clauses without clear punctuation, and “every students wants” shows a subject–verb agreement error. There are also errors in verb forms and sentence construction, as in “Literacy rate has been increased” and “we wont be able to find … opportunities … that fit all student career choices in to the subjects.” Some sentences are fragments or lack a clear grammatical connection, such as “We have introduced the importance of education to Girls and boys equally.” Aim for shorter, complete sentences first, then add complex structures with accurate agreement, articles, and punctuation.
