Do you think this is a positive or negative development?
You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays the range of indviduals is going to increase higher studies after school and it also believe that the number of courses also increases in Universities and Colleges. In my perspective,it is a good decision to overcome the illetracy among people because, in this way the individuals can got a lot of knowledge and oppotunities.I completely agree with this, that it is a highly possitive development.
On one side of my arguement that the higher studies can influence students to learn a lot knowlwdge because, in school they can just learn a basic learning rather than having experience to interact with a higher and deep knowledge. In this way we can reduce the amount of uneducated people from our country because education plays a benefcial role to build and groom the society. For Example if the person just rely on the School ideas and courses they cannot achieve the higher goals in future but on the other hand if he learn more concepts regardings his field he may get better opportunities to bright his future. On concluson, i believe it is very necessry to continue education after school and it should be increased among peoples
As far as courses concerned Education Administration should focus on the courses bbeacuse the people should learn the new ideas and concept rather than repeating or learning the same previous old verson again and agan. So, if the range of courses increasngs day by day it has a positive impact on the learning skills of students. For Instance, if the Education systems remains same still throughout my years it does not motivate the students to learn a new things but if we encouage them and bulit ther mind towards a new courses and skills it will become the raising star of our country or represent our country.
To sum up my arguement, I personally believe that it will have a positive impact on country if the education system is improve and the courses changes after every year.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you consider both increased participation in higher education and a wider range of courses to be positive. You give relevant reasons, including gaining knowledge, improving future opportunities, and encouraging students to learn new subjects. However, these ideas are often asserted rather than fully explained. For example, the claim that more courses will help the country become a “raising star” is unclear, and the discussion does not give a specific example of how a new course benefits students or society. The response addresses both parts of the topic, but the support remains limited and some points are difficult to interpret. Develop each main reason with a clear explanation and a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs about higher education and course variety, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “On one side,” “For Example,” and “To sum up” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first body paragraph moves from school learning to national literacy and then to future goals without clearly connecting these points. Some transitions are mechanical, and the conclusion largely repeats the opinion rather than drawing the reasons together. Improve cohesion by organising each paragraph around one central claim, then explaining and illustrating it in sequence. Use pronouns and linking expressions only where their references and relationships are clear.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to education and its effects, including “higher studies,” “opportunities,” “learning skills,” and “positive impact.” There are also efforts to use less common expressions, such as “influence students” and “beneficial role.” However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the message difficult to understand, including “indviduals,” “illetracy,” “knowledwge,” and “oppotunities.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “bright his future” and “raising star of our country.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. Reusing a smaller set of precise education-related terms is more effective than attempting phrases whose meaning is unclear.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional structures such as “if the person just rely on the School ideas … they cannot achieve the higher goals.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries occur frequently. For example, “the individuals can got” should use a consistent verb form, while “if he learn” needs subject–verb agreement. The opening also joins sentences without adequate spacing or punctuation, and several sentences run together, making relationships between ideas harder to follow. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a subordinate clause, then check verb forms and agreement before adding further complexity.
