Student answer (Band 5.5)
In many countries, more people continuing their education at college and university level has been increased. The number of new courses has also been increased at colleges and universities. In my opinion, this is a positive development due to various reasons.
First reason for increasing number of people in colleges and universities, they want to develop techinical skills with the help of higher education. For instance, individauals who have to get admission in computer studies, may spent most of time in computer labs. Afterthat, they learn different techical skills related to computer software and hardware.
Other reason for positive development in increasing number of people after school is that people want to get good employment opportunity in their relevant field of study. For example, in the current time artificial intelligence has become more significant in every sector. Individuals are know about the importance of AI and they want to get the skiils of AI, because of getting goo job and get professional experience in organization.
Third reason regarding increasing number of people is that after getting education at university level they will be able to explore different chances related their education or getting work opportunity around the world. For example, individuals when completed their education in home country then they want to moving abroad for future studies on different internation scholarships and settled there with permanant job.
In my conclusion, all the above information is about the positive development in increasing number of individuals in many countries at colleges and univerities due to getting technical skiils, to find out good employment oppotunities and moving abroad for future studies and job.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you consider the growth in further education and course choice positive, and you give relevant reasons involving technical skills, employment and opportunities abroad. The examples about computer studies and AI help connect these reasons to current study and work. However, the response addresses the two developments unevenly: most of the discussion concerns why more people attend university, while the increased range of courses receives little direct attention. Several points are also asserted rather than fully explained—for example, the claim that graduates can move abroad for scholarships and permanent work needs a clearer link to the benefits for individuals or society. Develop each reason with a specific explanation and address course variety explicitly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, three body paragraphs and a conclusion. Each body paragraph presents a separate reason, and signposts such as “For instance” and “For example” make the intended examples easy to identify. However, progression is somewhat mechanical: “First reason,” “Other reason” and “Third reason” repeat the same pattern, and the paragraphs read more like a list than a connected argument. Some links between ideas are unclear, particularly the move from studying in one’s home country to moving abroad and settling there. The conclusion mainly repeats the three points rather than drawing them together. Use more varied transitions and explain how each example supports the overall positive position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “technical skills,” “computer software and hardware,” “artificial intelligence” and “employment opportunity,” so the reader can follow the main subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, especially “increasing number of people” and “positive development.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “techinical,” “individauals,” “skiils” and “permanant,” as well as unnatural combinations like “get good employment opportunity” and “get the skills of AI.” These errors sometimes make the wording less clear or natural. Build a wider set of accurate collocations for education, career prospects and course choice, and proofread spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences to explain reasons and give examples, but sentence structures are mostly simple, and attempts at more complex forms are often faulty. For example, “First reason for increasing number of people in colleges and universities, they want…” is not a complete, well-formed sentence, while “individuals who have to get admission … may spent” contains errors in the verb pattern and form. Other examples include “people are know” and “they want to moving abroad.” These recurring problems can make the reader pause, although the main ideas are generally recoverable. Practise complete topic sentences and check subject–verb forms, infinitives and verb tense, especially after modal verbs and “want.”
