Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, the number of people continuing their studies after school has rise, with that range of courses available at higher insitutions has also increased in many countries. I strongly believe that it's a positive development because education plays an important role in research and development. It leads to opens more opportunities for majority of people

Majority of developed countries secret to success is education and it plays important in developing the country and it's people. With increasing number of people opting for higher education is a positive development for both the countries and people because it opens alot of opportunities for majority of people in each sector of the life. For instance, a person who studied in both college and university will get good position in professional life than a person who studied only school.

With increase of education , development increases too. It leads to increase in range of courses available. A decades ago, people didn't have much resources available but with education they kept doing research what they could do at that time. Now with time and education, there are many development happeninga and that's leading education sectors to keep introducing new courses. For instance, five years ago there wasn't any artifical courses available much but now many universities have introduce it and now many people are pursuing it.

In conclusion, it's a great positive development as education plays an important role in researchs and development of countries as well as it leads to more opportunities all around the world

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the introduction: you consider the growth in further education and course choice positive, and you return to this view in the conclusion. You also give relevant reasons, including improved career opportunities and the contribution of education to research and national development, with examples about professional qualifications and artificial-intelligence courses. This addresses the task, but the two main ideas are not developed equally fully. For example, the claim that graduates obtain better positions is asserted rather than explained or supported with a specific example, and the link between research and the expansion of courses could be made clearer. Develop each reason with a fuller explanation and a concrete illustration so the argument is more convincing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the paragraphs broadly group related ideas. The progression from career benefits to course development is understandable. However, connections between claims are sometimes abrupt or repetitive: “With increase of education, development increases too” largely repeats the earlier point about education and national development, while “It leads to increase in range of courses available” needs a clearer explanation of the relationship. Some linking phrases, such as “For instance” and “With increasing number,” help guide the reader, but the overall flow is not consistently smooth. Build each paragraph around one distinct point and use clearer references and transitions between explanation and example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “higher education,” “research and development,” “professional life,” and “pursuing” courses. These choices make your main meaning understandable. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors reduce precision, such as “insitutions,” “alot,” “artifical,” and “development happeninga.” Phrases such as “plays important” and “good position” are also not natural in this context. Aim to learn common academic collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise expressions would help you explain the benefits of further study without relying repeatedly on “education,” “development,” and “opportunities.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause with “because” and a time contrast beginning “A decades ago.” The overall message can generally be followed, but errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction are frequent enough to affect clarity. For example, “has rise” should use the past participle, and “there are many development happeninga” has problems with both the noun and verb structure. The opening sentence also joins ideas awkwardly, and “It leads to opens” combines incompatible verb forms. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and checking each clause for a complete, correctly formed verb. Greater control of these basics will make your ideas easier to follow.
